Too sticky, but does work
I was not a fan of this cleansing balm compared to Colleen Rothschild. It was too sticky and thick. It does remove all makeup, though. I also did not like the honey smell- it does not make me feel clean. However, that's just a personal preference.

SAVES Dry Irritated Eczema Inflamed Skin - WORTH IT!
I'm a firm believer in the Korean skincare method & have been using cleansing oils / balms for years. My favorites have always been Hemish & Farmacy so you get an idea what I'm used to as far as emulsification & rinsing very clean. So, I was pretty hesitant to apply this thick almost sticky honey based "cleansing balm". I put off trying this balm for a while , thinking it would cause my skin to become congested just from the ingredients & consistency. THEN I overindulged my skin on Drunk Elephant Sakura Baby Facial. My skin is still adjusting to postpartum hormones & I probably over did it with the treatments that week which resulted in one of the worst eczema spots I've ever had on my chin. I also had tender inflamed red skin all over the rest of my face which I just knew would flake over at any moment. Because my favorite balms can be drying I decided to try this one & OMG AM I GLAD I DID!!!! My skin instantly felt better. This thick lightly honey scented balm not only completely removed my makeup - it rinsed very clean while leaving behind soft moisturized CALM pain free skin. My skin healed up in a few days & it would normally take a week or two. In addition to this cleansing balm I used my usual Dr Brandt biotic & La Roche-Posay Lipikar products to heal & moisturize following cleansing. I would recommend everyone try this cleansing balm at least once. While this balm doesn't rinse as "clean FEELING" as my usual balms - I know that's because it's so moisturizing (not because anything icky is left behind after rinsing). I will ABSOLUTELY be purchasing the full size in this balm. It's probably a bit too richly thick & moisturizing for me to use on a daily basis... and it certainly is one of the more expensive cleansers I'll be keeping on my shelf. That said, it's 100% worth it to have on hand for when my skin needs that extra moisture, nourishment & healing. I received the 0.88 oz sample in December's Beauty Fix subscription box. After using it daily for a week there still appears to be quite a bit left in the container.

Very Moisturizing
I love love LOVED how moisturizing this cleansing balm was, without leaving behind any sort of oily film on my skin. I have found it doesn't quite get off all my eye make-up, but was fine for face makeup.

Hands Down... I am a believer!
I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and the occasional dry spots on my cheeks. My skin is also very sensitive, I have eczema and I am sensitive to scents. The first time I used this I thought to myself, I am sending it back. It was completely different than anything I have used before and it felt way too good to be actually cleaning my skin. I felt my face an hour or so later and couldn't believe how smooth it felt. I immediately checked in the mirror because I was sure it was going to be an oily disaster, but it was beautiful. I have never been the one to have beautiful skin or get compliments. I started using this daily with a light moisturizer and I have never been happier with my skin. I would recommend this to anyone. Just follow the directions and you will not be disappointed! Oh, I almost forgot... the scent is incredibly light.

Leaves an oily residue
I bought this cause I liked the brand and wanted a balm instead of an oil to cleanse my skin. I don't wear make up daily so I'm not sure how good it is to take off mascara, eyeliner etc... BUT I gave it one star because even after washing it with water you still get an oily residue on your face!!!

Great Winter Moisturizing Cleasnser
I love the Naturopathica product line, I definitely love this cleanser. It's gentle cleans well and makes my skin super soft and supple. I would not use this product for the summer because it's just too heavy and would clog your pores. I suggest using once a week or once every two weeks. I have extremely sensitive product skin and this did not break me out.
