Wonderful Cleansing Balm
I really enjoyed using this cleansing balm in the evenings. However, I am used to using an oil-based cleanser-which means using a hot towel to steam your face in order to completely remove any residue.

Great for sensitive skin
I tried this product as part of one of the "best of" kits, and I've never been a beauty balm user prior to this. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that is more of a combination complexion due to aging. This cleansing balm is delightful! It smells wonderful, is non-irritating, calming and moisture replenishing/retaining to my skin. I admit it is not an everyday item for me, as I only use it to cleanse my skin if I've worn makeup and right now I work from home. I tend to use it more when my skin is irritated or has dry patches. I ended up buying the full size product which is quite large so I expect it to last sometime.

Wanted to love it but didn't work for me
This smells nice and does remove makeup well, and for the price, you get a TON of product. But this made me break out. Every balm cleanser i've used does, so i just can't use this type of product sadly. Lesson learned.

I used to really like this balm cleanser in the winter but definitely too rich for the summer. it's so hot now that the oil starts to separate out and is super messy. nice and hydrating formula, but only in the winter for me

I love this cleanser!
I was introduced to this cleanser when I had a facial and was immediately hooked! I have struggled with dry skin on my face which I attributed to hormonal changes and getting older. None of my other attempts to remedy the dry skin on my face worked. As soon as I started using this product, I had no more issues with drying, flaking and sad looking skin! I won't use anything else now.

Great for sensitive and acne prone skin
This cleansing balm is my go-to first step on days that my skin is feeling super sensitive, red, and/or reactive. It feels so good on, smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling calm and clean but not dry. One downside to this product is that, per the instructions, the balm has to be removed with a washcloth otherwise it will leave a residue and not wash off completely. I also feel that for the price it should come with a spatula because it does separate a bit and needs to be mixed together before application.

Not for me
Clearly, a lot of people love this balm. It does feel very moisturizing, but it was just too rich for me. I'm almost to the bottom of my sample jar, and still haven't figured out how to smoothly and gently apply. The formula is so thick, I feel like I'm tugging on my skin just to spread it around. Glad it works for others, but not for me.

Great for redness
This stuff is amazing. I love trying new skincare and have so many half-used bottles of various things. But, this face wash will be finished and repurchased. It's so soothing for redness, very moisturizing, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
