Murad Clarifying Cleanser sloughs away the impurities and excess oil that clog your pores and make you breakout. Backed by soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredients, this gel face wash inhibits oil production, soothes existing irritation and works overtime to combat acne flare-ups. Encapsulated salicylic acid continually releases the formula for hours, even after being rinsed off, to give you a clearer, smoother complexion in a shorter period of time.

Gave me perioral dermatitis
This was the wrong cleanser for me. My friend has it and loves it- I used it at her house and LOVED the tingly clean feeling after use. I bought it and used it for a week and got a significant rash on my face that is still clearing up (a month later). I have dry skin- but I've never considered it sensitive. I switched over to a milk cleanser and I think that's more my speed- but my rash is still there (Perioral Dermatitis can take 2 months to clear up). I will say, I am pregnant, and my body is doing all sorts of crazy things- so I may be extra sensitive at this point- but there is no question that this product is to blame for my rash.

A Must for Acne Prone Skin
The Murad Clarifying Cleanser is the best face wash to get clean skin with out over drying. Somehow this formula is able to rinse clean yet continue working after you wash and dry your face. Your skin feels refreshed and tingly but not tight. I like that there are soothing ingrediants like green tea and menthol. You can really feel the menthol working to keep your skin clean and refreshed for a while after washing your face. This cleanser helps prevent break outs. Both of my teenage daughters use it and get compliments on their skin all the time.
