Backed by soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredients, this gel face wash inhibits oil production, soothes existing irritation and works overtime to combat acne flare-ups. Encapsulated salicylic acid continually releases the formula for hours, even after being rinsed off, to give you a clearer, smoother complexion in a shorter period of time.

Staple cleanser for problem skin

This acne wash is a staple for my sons problem skin. It’s the only one that keeps his breakouts at bay. Even when he gets lazy, as most teenage boys do, and stops washing his face for a few days a couple days of twice daily cleansing with this and his skin is back on track. Highly recommend.

Go-to cleanser for clear skin

This is my favorite Murad product because it has helped me maintain clear skin over many years. I use it to wash my face in the morning and in the evening. Consistent use over the years has helped me avoid breakouts and have very clear and pretty skin. A little goes a long way and this bottle lasts for a long time!

Works as a back up

I keep this around in case I am out of my Dermalogica cleanser. I can't really say that it helps with breakouts. If you use it daily is can actually cause drying.

Tingling and Gentle

While I don't have super sensitive skin I was a little weary seeing as this was supposed to tingle. I usually stray away from cleansers that do, however, this was great! It provides a good clean without stripping my skin or breaking me out. Really happy I tried this and will be repurchasing!

I've been using this for years and mainly go back to it for loyalty. In recent months I've been breaking out even though I've continued to use this, so I'm not sure if the formula has changed, but I think I still break out more with other cleansers.

Great cleanser, very effective

This is a great cleanser for clearing acne quickly and maintaining clear skin. There is a good reason people rave about this cleanser for acne prone skin, because it works. It has a time-released salicylic acid formula, which not only treats breakouts at the time of use, but continues to work and release ingredients throughout the day. My skin feels much cleaner and refreshed immediately after use. It also contains green tea extract which soothes skin, so it is not overly drying or harsh due to the salicylic acid. Definitely the best cleanser I've used for acne, I will continue to buy this cleanser forever!

clear skin, yes please

This is a strong medicated cleanser with 1.5% salicylic acid perfect to help speed up the clearing up process of any acne. It lathers up really nicely and deep cleans excellently. Immediately, my skin feels tighter and smoother and just feel like the product is working.

Great cleanser

I love this cleanser! My skin is acne prone and oily but can be sensitive. It is a little "strong" for winter months or when my skin is already irritated, but overall it is pretty gentle. It can sting the eyes if you get product in them. It's pretty pricey for a cleanser but is a fairly big bottle.
