the best 100% mineral SPF & daily moisturizer
PRO = 100% mineral based, no spf chemicals. Blends in well and does not leave a white cast. Medium to light weight, both a moisturizer and spf. Works well under make-up. CON = The price. Trying to find another 100% mineral based spf that serves as a daily moisturizer for a lower price but have not been successful in finding anything that is as good or better.

Hands down the best sunscreen I've ever used.
The holy grail of sunscreen. Slight tint so I've been able to reduce the amount of foundation I wear. Great consistency - gives your face a glow which I love (maybe not so good if you have oily skin or dislike a dewy look). Easy to apply and the formulation is elegant. I don't know how well the tint would work for darker skins.

Truly protective
I loved this when I used it regularly. I am very fair/pink and am in front of a screen all day at work, so wanted the extra protection. I am not sure if it irritated my rosacea because after a couple of months of regular usage without changing anything else, I had really persistent rosacea spots on my nose. When I switched to Supergoop, it went away. Still, I would highly recommend to someone without rosacea. It leaves a lovely glow and really kept my skin protected. I walk about 5 miles a day and saw no sunburn/tan while using.

Great texture but not indelible protection
I thought I'd give this a try during the sale to see if it would be a good alternative to Tizo for my face. Conclusion: somewhat but not the holy grail. I love the texture and how this goes on. However, I have vitiligo with nearly 100% pigment loss in my face and neck so have to be extremely careful about the level of protection lasting. After wearing this under my makeup on a day when I also went out on a walk in the afternoon, I noticed the telltale sunburn signs the next morning. After a couple other tries I've confirmed it's this sunscreen and not just me, as my trusty Tizo stays effective. Is it as good for my skin, overall, as this Murad product? No. But the immediate damage from a burn is my main focus. I'll still use this during the winter when the days are super short and I can afford a little less protection, but because of my specific needs probably won't purchase again. Some people may have different results, especially if they are willing to reapply at mid day (i.e. after a few hours of wear). I'm more of a one and done type with my cosmetics, though, and am not in a place where I can completely re-do in the middle of my work day.

Great For Darker Skin Tones
Started using this sunscreen a couple months ago, and I love it! I never thought I'd find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a cast on darker complexions. Not only does it not leave a cast, it's also lightweight and doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling greasy and shiny (which is important for someone like me with oily skin). It also hasn't caused any irritation or breakouts. It plays well with all the skincare that I apply underneath it, and it works great on no-makeup days as well as under makeup. Wish it wasn't so expensive, but it's worth every penny.
