Worth the splurge
I was hesitant that the pocket sized brush would be too small but its perfect for my fine/thin hair and sensitive scalp. I've started routine scalp treatments and maintain with this brush. So far I'm impressed.

Great Product
I was worried that the pocket size would be too small but it turned out to be just right for me. This brush evenly distributes the oil from the roots to the tips of hair. Although this is for sensitive scalp I would only brush my hair and avoid the bristles from touching the scalp as it feels too harsh on my skin. It took me some time to adjust but once I am used to this brush I cannot live without it! I have thicker hair so I might go for the nylon and boar mix next time.

Worth the Price
I have been loyal to Mason Pearson brushes since I was a little girl. My mom bought me one because i always had thick, long hair and now i just can't be without one. I always carry this pocket sized one in my purse everywhere I go. I just wish they had a little travel case to put it in.

I hate that I love it
Truth to be told, this is the most EXPENSIVE hair brush that I have owned. I have short but thick and oily hair. Over the past 8 years, I have wondered if I should purchase this. I asked around but everyone around me thought that it was a crazy idea. When I moved to a new place, I found a new hairdresser and this brush came up. I asked him if I should purchase it and he said that I should. So after 8 years of pondering, I bit the bullet and bought it. I love brushing my hair at night now and this brush helps to distribute the oil in my scalps so my blow dry lasts one more day. Ladies, if you are like me, don't hesitate and buy this. I wish I purchased this a long time ago but better late than never, right ?

Wonderful brush
Where has this been all my life? It takes some time to get used to, but this brush makes my thin, fine hair look full and voluminous. I have a dry scalp but oily strands of hair as I get further away from my scalp, and this brush disperses everything evenly. I don't have a ton of hair, but it is long and the pocket size is perfect. The craftsmanship is beautiful, but it is very unfortunately very pricey. Hoping this lasts me in the decades to come!

Like most women, I waited years and years to buy a costly brush, and bought the "pocket" size to try. First time I brushed my hair, I was sold. I have thick, semi-wavy hair and its still a lot of hair for my age (51), less than what I used to have and my hair stylist told me its all about circulation- this brush does get through to my scalp and it massages it and I feel the blood circulating. It also moves the sebum to the ends as it claims. Perfect size for shoulder-length hair, it is light and easy to hold. I couldn't be happier! Will definitely buy the larger size or go for boar bristle without nylon when I can- worth every penny.
