Incredible difference
Within a week I noticed a complete difference. My hair feels so much stronger. Read that you should be brushing hair from scalp to ends which I had never heard before but makes sense with diffusing the oil from the scalp to the rest of the hair. Friends said I was nuts for spending this much on a brush until they saw the results.

The brush to end all brushes
I used to steal my mom's Mason Pearson when I was little, so finally she gave me my own when I went off to college. It's such a nice luxury to have, and makes our hair so smooth and soft. Definitely not a necessity, but if you can afford it I highly recommend it!

Great brush
Great brush, no issues with it whatsoever. Does what it claims to do, which is all you can ask for in a product. Was just torn between getting this version versus the all-boar-bristle one; honestly price tipped me toward this version. But it works well. I think the all-boar one might have a harder time getting through my hair. Moreover, i noticed the hairdressers at the hair salon i pay top $ for all use this version versus the all-boar one, probably b/c it's more "universal" and goes through the hair easily, so great for styling etc.

Wow! Amazing brush!
I never thought I could love a hairbrush so much! It really does smooth out your hair and distribute your hair oils so you don't have to wash your hair as frequently. It sounds ridiculous to spend that kind of money on a hairbrush, but I swear it is worth it!

Worth every penny
I'm 34 and I don't know why I waited so long to buy one of these. I used to use IBIZA brushes...they were about $60. The MP price thew me for about 15 years....and I just wish I would have looked the other way and purchased the brush 15 years ago. Best.Brush.Ever. Leaves my hair silky smooth and pulls like 2 strands out. Will never use another brush again.

Amazing Brush
I have fine, thin, medium-length hair. I am happy with my decision to get the boar/nylon mixture brush, as well as the handy size. This brush is better at pulling the oil from my scalp down through the length of my hair than any other brush I have ever owned. It does it so well that after using it for several weeks, I find I only need to shampoo my hair once or twice a week and use conditioner (only on the very ends of my hair) every two weeks! More reliance on the natural oil in my hair, and less use of hair products has resulted in softer, fuller and less frizzy hair. I have tried to share this brush with my kids (age 5 and 2), and they find it too "scratchy". While I love the scalp massage from this brush, I think the kids would prefer an all-boar bristle brush in the pocket size.
