Not so sure...
It worked in the beginning when I used it for the first few weeks, but after a few more, I stopped and my acne has returned. I thought this would be a great way to totally eliminate my blemishes but since it's not done by a professional, I guess it would only keep working if I continue using it.

It is so hard to tell if this is actually making a significant difference in my skin. My skin is definitely better but I've been using this for about two weeks along with a few other changes. I got the lightstim in hopes it'll help with my hormonal acne, in addition to spironolactone use. Have been using for two weeks. No irritation and some redness reduction so far. Does not seem to make a difference on already existing acne.

Skin is so fickle and goes through such lengthy cycles, it's really hard to tell what is working, but after struggling with stubborn hormonal and rosacea-incited breakouts for a long time, and using this guy consistently for six months, I saw a big improvement. I think it was aided by being paired with the red light device to reduce inflammation. It's certainly worth a try. Relaxing to use in the evening-my husband reads to me or I listen to an audio book.

I recently bought the LightStim for Acne because my husband and I are TTC. I had to stop taking my spironolactone which I was at 75mg for about 4 years. I heard horror stories of people getting off spironolactone and their faces would break out really bad. My dermatologist said I would break out most likely worse than what I was at before I starting taking spironolactone. My dermatologist suggested blue light to help with breakouts. I started using this product as I slowly got off my medicine. I was at 25mg a day when I started using LightStim and then eventually I was just using the LightStim. So far I have only had minor breakouts nothing too bad. My skin looks great. You have to follow what the guide says. I used my LightStim everyday and now I am at 3 times a week. It's easy to use and I use it while I watch TV. Great Product!!

I was introduced to light therapy when I started going to an esthetician in preparation for my wedding a couple of years ago. I have been on prescription acne medicine for years, but had to stop everything recently when I became pregnant and MY SKIN FREAKED OUT. Literally the worst acne of my life. Painful deep bumps. The esthetician recommended this specific light for daily light therapy at home. I have been using it every night for almost three weeks now and can really tell a difference.
