Excellent, mild yet effective
Many retinol creams do not work for sensitive skin. This isn't one of them. It is mild yet effective, and I see a noticeable difference in my skin when I am using this product. It is lightweight and helps with skin tone as well as acne. Skin appears smoother and clearer. Also helps with fine lines. Excellent value for money.

very gentle!
It's hard to find a retinol product that's gentle enough for my skin. I think this product is one of the best products to try if you're new to retinol. It could be used during the day because it's extremely light.

Amazing product!
Unlike other retinol products, this one does not irritate my skin and is gentle enough to use every night. It is very effective and I noticed that my fine lines were softened after a a while. I'll definitely continue using this product because it works!

Could be better
I LOVE La Roche-Posay products in general, so this was a bit of a let-down for me. I think the cream is good -it did not aggravate my hyper-sensitive, rosacea-prone skin; and it did improve my skin texture. But it has fragrance, unlike most LRP products, and it is a strong "old lady perfume" scent that did not dissipate. And the packaging could be so much better - it's hard to get a standard amount, the cap is finicky... I am returning it. Please, LRP, please put this in a pump and ditch the perfume!

It burned my face
I have been used retinol products for many years and have used this product before purchased from my Dermatologist office. I love La-Roche products and I was excited to star using this one again. Unfortunately, the first night I used I couldn't keep it for more than ten minutes on my face because it started to burn my face terribly. My face stayed very sensitive and red the whole day next day even though I only had the product for few minutes on my face the night before. Huge disappointment.

Yes and I plan to try Redermic C options as well. So far i've noticed calmer, smoother skin. I bought it more for refining my complexion than for wrinkles but i'm all for preventative care. Some nights i blend it with a dab of the Toleriene Riche cream and wake up with very smooth bright skin! I use only La Roche products and that probably helps with overall effectiveness.
