La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin is a gentle formula for acne-prone skin that requires daily cleansing.
This soap-free cleanser works to purify the skin while promoting the elimination of excess sebum with a combination of zinc and glycacil. When clean and free of impurities, your skin regains its physiological equilibrium. It is an ideal complement to dermatological treatments.
Step 1: Morning and/or evening, massage onto wet skin in a gentle, circular motion.
Step 2: Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Avoid eye area.

This is the best facewash I've tried, and like others I feel like I have tried them all. Definitely notice a positive difference in my face since using this, and far fewer breakouts. My skin is sensitive and acne-prone. I will for sure continue to use this product.

I really didn't like anything about this face wash. I have occasional breakouts and thought it would be a good choice. I does seem to shrink a blemish, but it doesn't necessarily go away. I also think that the drying factor made my skin look older.

I've used this product faithfully for the past couple of years. I am somewhat of a product junkie and have used several cleansers, most of them high-end products. However, I always find my way back to La Roche-Posay. Before I started using this cleanser, my combination skin was prone to break-outs every so often. Since using this product, I have not had a pimple since. Nothing compares to this cleanser. What I like: my skin feels extra clean after using; it's mild and does not dry out my skin; removes traces of eye makeup and doesn't burn my eyes; pairs well with other products; price is great for such a quality cleanser; great consistency and an inviting, enticing smell. I look forward to washing my face twice a day with this product. Also, it lasts forever since a very little goes a long way. Overall, this is a product offers great value!
