I've recently been struggling with cystic acne since getting off birth control. I've added this to my nightly routine to build up my sensitivity to this and over the past couple weeks I've seen a difference. This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist, helped me with my acne, I still use it every time I get breakouts and it does work wonders, sunblock while on this medication is a MUST, if you dont put sunblock the minimum daylight will make u feel like your face is burning, stay out the sun, aside from that I highly recommend it

Great for spot treatment
This is a great product to use on spots. The bp kills the acne bacteria and works great for my skin. The one thing you have to be aware of is that this will bleach anything your face touches. So make sure your pajamas and pillow case are white so you don't ruin them. I also found this product to be a little strong a the beginning and used it sparingly until my skin became accustomed to it. I do make sure to use moisturizer with this and sometimes when my skin is extra dry I put a light weight one, such as the Toleriane liquid one under and then one on top.

Way too harsh
I'm in my 40s with hormonal cystic acne and accustomed to 'harsher' treatments, but something about this stuff burns like crazy. I've tried it a 100 different ways/times and it just burns and turns my face red in that chemical burn sort of way, so I wash it off. I use retin-A several times a week, but I always have and never had this BP sensitivity. I give up on it.

I get those awful hormonal pimples that hurt. If I dab this on at night, by morning my pimples have shrunk considerably, and sometimes they are gone!

Effective but drying
I got this for a particular stubborn spot. It dries on clear and doesn't leave any kind of residue, which made it really convenient for daytime wear. However, I would recommend applying sparingly. One day I accidentally applied it twice and the area was extremely red and dry the next day.

Effective on most pimples
This works well on most pimples. However, for deep, under-the-skin, painful bumps, this may have made my skin peel and dry out. I don't blame this product automatically since I do use other acne treatments too and the combination could have been too much. I have found nothing works for those deep pimples except time and maybe a cortisone shot. Be cautious if you use other acne treatments. Otherwise this is a powerful combatant against most pimples.
