I received a sample of this and gave it a try. I was careful to apply only a very thin layer all over and a couple hours later my face was burning and itching and all I wanted to do was wash my face and put on moisturizer. It wasn't horrible, just a bit too much for my comfort level. I had some peeling later as well. While I have used benzoyl peroxide before and some irritation is expected, this is a little strong. 5.5% is on the high end for an over the counter product but it may be suitable for others less sensitive than I. I may just use this as a spot treatment and keep it on for a couple hours.

Go-To Spot Treatment
This product is my go-to spot treatment for any pimples that pop up. It can be very drying so I make sure to moisturize first and then apply this product on top. It is extremely effective in drying out the pimple almost overnight. It also is a good amount of product and lasts a very long time.

Can be drying, be sure to follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. I use once daily in the evening, and find this to be perfect for avoiding lots of irritation that can come with twice daily usage. I noticed results after first use.

Left burn marks all over my face.
This definitely gets rid of the pimple by the next day which is great BUT this unfortunately left burn marks everywhere I applied it. I should've did a test patch on my hand but I've used other benzoyl based treatments before.If you have really sensitive skin just be cautious if you feel any tingly for a long period of time.

I wish this product was thicker, the thin watery like creme tends to spread out wayy further then i'd like when i try to spot treat a blemish. So the surrounding area dries out not just the pimple. I stopped using this product.
