La Roche-Posay's Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 60 provides broad-spectrum protection from the sun's harmful rays that may contribute to skin damage and premature aging of the skin. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, this facial sunscreen provides a non-whitening, matte finish and is formulated with Cell-Ox Shield® Technology and antioxidants to help visibly reduce the appearance of sun damage.
Key Ingredients:
- Cell-Ox Shield® Technology: A key antioxidant technology in the Anthelios sun care range. It combines photostable UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection and powerful antioxidant protection. With Senna Alata, a tropical leaf extract known to defend skin cells in the upper layer of skin against damaging free radicals caused by the sun.
- Vitamin E: Tocopheryl acetate is a synthetic, more stable form of vitamin E. It has antioxidant properties to help neutralize damaging free radicals.
- Dimethicone: A silicone-based polymer used as a skin protectant to help reduce water loss.
- Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.
- La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. It contains a unique combination of minerals, trace elements, and a high concentration of selenium, a natural antioxidant.

Favorite chemical sunscreen
I love the finish of this sunscreen, feels very soft and dry, not greasy at all on my oily, sensitive skin. I haven't noticed any burning. I typically use a mineral sunscreen, but when I want waterproof coverage for running or going to the beach this is my go to! Also love the small size, great for taking packing in a bag.

Great for Combination Skin
I love this product. I have tried dozens of sunscreens and this one is my favorite. I prefer products that aren't tinted since I am very fair and the tint is always too orange or dark for me. Mineral sunscreens always leave a white cast on my skin (even the ones that claim they don't), so I prefer chemical sunscreens. Also, chemical versions penetrate into the skin and work at the cellular level, whereas mineral versions rest on top of the skin to deflect the sun's rays. Chemical versions also work better to deflect UVA rays (responsible for premature aging) than mineral versions. This sunscreen has a thick milky liquid texture, applies smoothly, leaves no white cast, is non-drying unlike many other matte sunscreens, and dries down to a gentle matte finish. Also, it's waterproof, SPF 60, and wears well under makeup as long as you let it fully dry first.

Way better than supergoop PLAY Everyday spf 50
I previously used Supergoop PLAY Everyday spf 50 as my face spf. I found that supergoop made me unreasonably shiny. Never purchasing again. I've used LaLa Roche-Posay's Anthelios Ultra Light for the past 6 months and I think it's far better. It dries very fast. There is a subtle white cast after application - if you are a no make-up/no foundation person (like me) this is very important. I do notice, if I am in a rush in the morning and I don't allow my moisturizer to dry long enough, the white cast is more apparent. However, this shouldn't be an issue if you use foundation/concealer right after. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues with this sunscreen. It has no noticeable scent. I'm on my second bottle. It's fantastic!

My Can't-Live-Without Facial Sunscreen
I have oily skin, and I could never find a facial sunscreen that didn't leave me looking like an oil slick. Even when they said they were "oil free" or "non-greasy," I still ended up looking shiny and gooey shortly after applying. Until La Roche-Posay. This is the only one I've found that leaves me somewhat matte. It leaves a very slight glow rather than being completely, 100% matte, which is fine with me. I get no white cast and it rubs in easily. Very minor sunscreen smell that disappears quickly. This is my go-to sunscreen for as long as it continues to keep me looking good and not greasy. Love it!

I'm always nervous to try new sunscreens because they always break me out. I've been trying mineral sunscreens this year and that's a big no from me. They wreak havoc on my skin. This one is really nice. Pros: Rubs in nicely Shiny at first for only a few minutes then leaves a nice glow but no greasiness No white cast at all A little goes a long way No breakouts Feels weightless Cons: There's a slight sunscreen smell that lasts all day. It's not too strong but it's there. The bottle is pretty small but I think It'll still last a month or two.
