Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer was created to mimic the appearance of healthy, radiant skin. It can be used as a spot foundation, concealer, all-over foundation, highlighter (choose a shade lighter than your actual skin tone) or mixed with your moisturizer for a tinted moisturizer effect -- the possibilities are endless! Honey and jojoba oil create a soft, dewy finish as well as lend themselves to the formula's silky texture. It may be applied with the fingers, a brush or a sponge (wet or dry) for any desired finish. Apply over The Sensual Skin Primer for a smooth texture, and top with The Gossamer Loose Powder if you prefer a matte look.
SX 01 is a true ivory shade, ideal for fair skin tones.
Apply sparingly (a pin sized amount) with your finger or concealer brush on top of freshly moisturized or primed skin and blend. Apply more as desired.

This stuff is amazing. This can be used as a foundation when you mix it with primer or moisturizer. You can also use a tiny bit on a concealer brush, and it is magical. I have acne-prone skin, and this did not break me out. It is highly pigmented, so even though the jar is small, it is going to last forever. You barely need any. It does not settle into the lines under my eyes. Google how to use this product, and you will find a multitude of different application techniques.

Amazing Multitasker
It's so perfect and so lasting! I put it on straight as a concealer under my eyes, and then mix it with my moisturizer to wear on the rest of my face. It's not cakey or look unnatural. I've gotten my assistant hooked on it now too! I've had it for about 2 months, but it looks like I haven't even made a dent in how much I've used. It's so amazing!

A MUST HAVE Concealer
A very thick concealer - just a tiny dab is all it takes to cover up all sorts of brown spots, breakouts, red spots, etc. I cannot stress how very little of the product is needed - it is very thick. However, for someone like myself with many skin issues to hide, I am absolutely delighted with this product. So far, I think it is better to cover first with this Kevyn Aucoin concealer, then I lightly use an overall foundation.

DO NOT EVER BUY CONCEALOR OR FOUNDATION AT DERMSTORE UNLESS YOU KNOW YOUR EXACT COLOR
Customers be warned. Do not buy foundation or concealor from Dermstore unless you know your exact color match. They do not provide exchanges. You must return the product and re-purchase. And they won't honor the original purchase price if you used a promotional code. The first customer representative I spoke to said she would note in my account that they would honor my original purchase price. It was never noted and when I called back to repurchase, they said that it was against their policy to do so. Also, the color match consultants are just about useless in helping you find a color match. Ultimately, they told me to go to the department store to figure it out. The concealor by the way is very high quality, provides medium to full coverage, but it's been difficult to find the right color. Unless you know your exact color, I recommend purchasing from Sephora or other high-end department stores that honor your original purchase price and offer more customer friendly exchange policies.

Underwhelming
I read endless reviews of how amazing this product was but I could not get it to work for me. I tried it mixed with oils, primers, lotions - it was always somehow simultaneously dry and patchy and also crease-y texture. It's a cult favorite so I must be doing something wrong, but I can not figure out the right equation. I spoke with a lady at the makeup counter and she said it can sometimes be better for an older skin type. If you are curious to buy I would definitely try it in a sample size first. Can't say I will be purchasing again.

Is a very thick creamy consistensy full coverage and you need a tiny bit to cover all the face i use my fingers to apply so it doesnt look cakey most color have a yellow undertone i have #6. Perfect for nc 25. Shade in mac if you dont powder it will oxidize a bit and it will look dewy if you powder is gona remain the same color as it looked when u first apply it .i also have shade #8 and it looks great again if i powder it .make sure you use a silky primer or its going to be hard to spread .
