I purchased this product specifically for travelling -combining foundation and SPF 30 sunscreen... but now I use it all the time for my regular wear. Desert Glow is a shade or two darker than my normal foundation (100% Pure in Creme) and with definite yellow undertones so it is perfect for the tanned summer months, but not so much of you have fairer skin tones. Coverage is sheer and glowy. It is not a heavy foundation at all, so I would recommend it to those who don't like the feel of makeup on their face -especially when set with a finishing powder to tone down some of that gorgeous luminosity (I use 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder in Creme, for reference). I really like the combination of these two products: my skin has a summery, lit from within look. There is no creasing or caking. My makeup doesn't move around when the weather climbs into the triple digits. It sits very naturally on comfortably on my skin's surface, which is always my first priority when choosing a foundation.

It did not even out my skin tone and there was a white film/cast..most likely because of the SPF. But I overall I was disappointed.

Wanted to love...
I really wanted to love this product; however, it offered no coverage and didn't appear to even out my skin tone in the slightest. As a mother of two small children I try to multi-task where possible. That includes cosmetics. As such, I prefer a bb/cc cream that offers moderate coverage so I don't have to spend too much time primping. I tried applying it with my fingers and w/a brush, but neither improved the level of coverage. I would recommend this product, but only for someone who has a pretty even skin tone. I will note that I have fairly sensitive, reactive skin and this did not bother me.

My first CC cream
I had heard great reviews about this so thought I'd test it out for myself. This was the first CC cream that I've used, so I don't have much to compare it with... but it felt just like applying liquid sunscreen on my face, except that it made it look better! The texture of the cream is a bit thick and can take some effort to blend, but once you get used to it, it shouldn't be an issue. People have complimented me on how good I look even when I've been sick and sleep deprived so I know it must be working!
