Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Illuminating Primer is the ideal base, regardless of the foundation you use, featuring a powerful blend of botanical juices and antioxidants that illuminates the skin and blurs out imperfections. Rich coconut alkanes provide a great alternative to silicones, smoothing skin and providing hydration. This organic makeup primer also features vegetable-derived hyaluronic acid, plumping skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

makes skin look beautiful, but makeup still looks cakey
The primer comes nicely packaged in a frosted glass bottle. By wearing it on its own, I was speechless as it makes your skin look very beautiful and luminous. It's not subtle, nor is it tacky or too strong. If you put on too much, the primer goes on white but sinks in and dries clear. For some reason, my makeup didn't go on smoothly after putting the primer on and looked cakey/had little particles on my face. It wasn't too bad but it was not perfectly smooth. I've tried several different products & applicators with the same primer and they all end up looking cakey. I'll be returning. If you just want a simple face illuminator, I'd highly recommend it as it leaves a glowy shine to the face. However, it did not help my makeup look perfect.

Great illuminator
This product is fantastic for illuminating the complexion, particularly if you have dry or ageing skin. Not sure if it does much as a primer, but it is not what I purchased it for. I also don't find it moisturizing, which may be a plus for many as it is not greasy at all and absorbs very fast. Overall very satisfied.

Great Primer!!
This is an excellent primer! I usually use a mattifying primer since I have oily and sensitive skin but I thought I would give this one a try and I love it! It gives a nice glow to the skin, does not make me oily throughout the day, and allows makeup to apply better!

This primer is amazing!
I was not positive that I really believed the hype of needing a primer under make-up. It turns out I was just using the wrong ones! I have noticed a major difference with how smooth and even my foundation goes on with this underneath it.

Love this primer
I love how light, silky and glow this primer feels on my face! I have an acne-prone skin and I don't like to use a primer unless I need a heavy and long lasting make-up. I have have Benefit Porefessional, Hourglass Veil Primer, Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer, but this is my favorite. It gives you a subtle glow on after your foundation applied. Love it!

Great Primer
This was the first primer I used that had a luminous sheen to it. I was skeptical at first as I'm heading closer to the "aging" skin category but this stuff is great! It doesn't over power, silky smooth in application and I even were it alone with great results! Would absolutely recommend! My one request it they change the nozzle the product is dispensed from; it's very small and clogs very easily. It's easy to unclog it but it does cause the occasional mess and product waste.

This is the BEST primer I've tried, hands down and I love that it's organic! No silicone's, so no weird balling up and rolling and it leaves a subtle glow and really helps my foundation go on smoother and last longer.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!
