Juice Beauty PHYTO-PIGMENTS Illuminating Primer is the ideal base, regardless of the foundation you use, featuring a powerful blend of botanical juices and antioxidants that illuminates the skin and blurs out imperfections. Not the Best, But Okay
I have purchased this several times because it seemed to help my serum foundation last longer while brightening my skin a bit. It is supposed to be a primer and brightener, however, it does neither one fantastically. For a more illuminating effect, you would have to apply this on top of your foundation too. The brightening effect is minimal, then again, it is not a substitute for a highlighter. It is not a heavy-duty, all-day primer by any stretch. While non-toxic, it seems the skincare benefits are over-rated. I have stuck with it because I am particular about clean products and it worked well with my serum foundation. It is pricey. The shatter-resistant, frosted glass bottle is nice. The lid and pump are plastic. I also have to be careful the pump does not get clogged or the product will squirt out everywhere! This product is nice, but will not be for everyone. It has a subtle citrus scent from the ingredients.

Nice glow, but cakey
This left a nice glitter free glow, but I unfortunately found that it caked with my other products, despite trying several different combinations. Always can be used as a highlighter though, as it seems to play better when it is the top layer.

I loved this primer so much I just bought another one and I will continue to use it. I like the way it adds a glow but is absolutely glitter free. Its not too thick or watery and doesn't contain any silicone. it goes on like a serum.

It works well to even out my skin for application of mineral powder. I do not use foundation. If I apply this under my eyes, then put concealer on top it smears and clumps up. I would recommend only if you are using powder, not with liquid foundation. I definitely get less oily when using this primer.
