A great purse-sized brush
This is a nice, well-built foundation brush. The bristles are extremely soft, providing even coverage. What’s not to like? Well, a couple of things, but these are merely quibbles. The case is designed so the brush has to go in handle-first. That means, in practice, that you both get foundation on your hand and must layer pull the brush out by its bristles. A true design flaw. Also, closing the case is awkward, enough so that it might be difficult for someone with arthritis. The closure is a fixed strap across the front; the top flap has to be fed under it. The easiest way that I’ve found involves pushing my thumb under the strap in order to create a wide enough gap to allow the flap underneath.

Great brush!
This is a great brush. I bought it what feels like 100 years ago when I first tried the Jane Iredale pressed mineral bases. I stopped using the products ages ago but I still love the brush. It is pricey but has lasted beautifully. Very well-made and gives a smooth, even finish. Quality lasts!

High quality, only brush I use!
I've been using the Handi Brush for the past 10 years. This is my 3rd and the same high quality that I've come to expect from Jane Iredale products. I waited over 2 months to write this because I read some of the recent reviews about the brush shedding and that the quality was different than past handi brushes. I have not experienced any shedding, the bristles are soft as can be, and the quality is the same as the handi brushes I've previously owned. I expect this brush to last several years. The only brush I use to apply my Jane Iredale pressed powder.

Loved it for a while
Had this brush and used daily for a couple years, took great care of it but bristles started collapsing in the middle and falling out, contact Jane and they replaced, happened again and they replaced with a different brush. New brush is great. If your looking to get a years worth then this is an excellent brush if well taken care of. Janes customer service is also exceptional!
