Start with Smooth Affair: apply with fingertips, spreading evenly until primer has been absorbed. Use with or without your favorite moisturizer.
For PurePressed Base: swirl the brush around the pressed powder foundation. Tap off any excess. Using downward strokes, begin application where you want the most coverage. Then layer over the rest of your face and neck.
For Amazing Base: lightly dip each side of the brush into the powder. Tap off any excess. Using the lid, work the mineral foundation into the brush until all powder is absorbed. Apply in thin layers using downward strokes.
Finish with POMMISST: lightly mist your face from about an arm's length away. Spritz the face throughout the day to refresh or whenever the skin feels dry.

Not for me.
I ordered "Light" which most closely resembles my skin tone of the choices but it was too light and yellowish undertoned. The primer did not hurt but also didn't help with foundation application and longevity. The spray was nice but not nice enough to justify keeping the set and so I returned it. The makeup bag is really cute and if it had been at least 1-2 inches wider and taller I also would have kept the set.

Great way to start Jane Iredale
I am officially hooked on Jane Iredale. I wasn't sure about the color descriptions on the website though so I wanted to start out small in case the colors didn't really match but they ended up matching and covering perfectly without my skin looking oily. It is expensive for the little bit of product you get but it is worth it.
