Start with Smooth Affair: apply with fingertips, spreading evenly until primer has been absorbed. Use with or without your favorite moisturizer.
For PurePressed Base: swirl the brush around the pressed powder foundation. Tap off any excess. Using downward strokes, begin application where you want the most coverage. Then layer over the rest of your face and neck.
For Amazing Base: lightly dip each side of the brush into the powder. Tap off any excess. Using the lid, work the mineral foundation into the brush until all powder is absorbed. Apply in thin layers using downward strokes.
Finish with POMMISST: lightly mist your face from about an arm's length away. Spritz the face throughout the day to refresh or whenever the skin feels dry.

Loved everything but the PurePressed Base
THis is a great starter kit! I loved all the items included especially the Hydration Spray and brush. I started ordering the hydration spray refill and would have never know how well is sets my Amazing Base if it wasn't for this kit. However, the PurePressed Base breaks me out. Amazing Base has been great with my sensitive skin that easily breaks out but the PurePressed ingredients do not do well with my skin. Another great reason to try out this kit though!

Great Powder Foundation
I have been using this product for several days since receiving it and so far I really like it. It gives a natural look and evens out the skin. I have combination skin and so far it performs well in a very hot weather. I normally use liquid foundation and not a big fan of powder foundation as they tend to look too powdery and settle into fine lines, but am impressed with Jane iredale product so far.

Just OK. Would not buy again.
This product was recommended to me by an esthetician but I really wasn't that impressed. However, I think it was mainly due to the brush. It really didn't apply the make-up that great. Also the spray was unevenly distributed. The smooth affair primer was really great though!

nice starter kit
I bought this kit to see which powder I would like better-and I liked them both. But I ordered the medium/light and received light and it was way too light (and I'm fair). Still waiting on the return to see how the medium color is on me. I had been wanting to try out the primer and mist also, so this was a nice way to try everything. I will say the sizes are even smaller than what I had thought, especially for the cost, but as with everything jane iredale-it didn't disappoint!

This is beautiful on my sensitive skin. I have acne prone/ oily skin with acne scars. It is amazing at covering spots and not letting oil get out of control. I don't wear makeup often, but I definitely see a difference in my skin after a month of on and off use.
