jane iredale's Smooth Affair® Brightening Face Primer (formerly known as "Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener") refines and prepares the skin for a long-lasting foundation application. It camouflages pores, fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin with a more luminous-looking glow. Algae extract firms, while olive leaf extract promotes skin regeneration.
With fingertips, spread evenly until primer has been absorbed. Use with or without your favorite moisturizer. Use Smooth Affair as a primer before your makeup application and after you wash your face at night for healthy, radiant, moisturized skin.

have many fine lines and seems to help fill in! Do not notice any "brightener" change but will keep using it to see if that happens.

Love this primer
I have been using Jane Iredale mineral makeup for years now and I will not switch. Her makeup applies easily, blends well, and always looks natural. This primer makes my foundation "set" better and fills in my pores and fine lines without being too heavy.

Didn't work for my skin.
I personally tried this on myself and I didn't like the results. On the contrary, I am a mua and I LOVE to use this on my older clientele. It makes them look hydrated and makeup will just glide on.

It works, but not my favorite
I use a dab of this and I do see a bit of dew and enough coverage that I'm content, but it tends to pill it's my skincare routine. It's all subjective of course but I haven't been overly impressed.

Hasn't broken my skin out
Silicones tend to clog pores on my skin pretty bad, so I was a little scared of using this product. I've only tried this one once (without foundation on top) but so far it hasn't aggregated my face too much.

Makes my skin red
I am a big Jane Iredale fan but I can't say this product has been as magical as the others. Every time I apply it my skin gets SUPER red and I end up having to use more product to cover the redness. Super bummer
