jane iredale's Smooth Affair® Brightening Face Primer (formerly known as "Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener") refines and prepares the skin for a long-lasting foundation application. It camouflages pores, fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin with a more luminous-looking glow. Algae extract firms, while olive leaf extract promotes skin regeneration.
With fingertips, spread evenly until primer has been absorbed. Use with or without your favorite moisturizer. Use Smooth Affair as a primer before your makeup application and after you wash your face at night for healthy, radiant, moisturized skin.

Best so far
I received a sample of this from Jane Iredale and found it worked the best of any primers I'd tried so far. I have have combination skin with an oily t-zone where I have deep creases that makeup settles in and no primer has ever helped. Smooth Affair has done the best, I still have some settle at first, so 4 stars instead of 5, but after I smooth that away a couple times it is pretty good for the rest of the day. I haven't tried the version for oily skin so maybe it would work better which I may try especially if they come out with a sample to try first since it is so expensive.

The best primer I've found
I have been using this primer for years now, it's the best I've found for my sensitive, dry, rosacea-prone skin. It's moisturizing and really does help to minimize pores and create a smooth canvas for my makeup. I won't wear foundation without it! As a bonus, the smell is beautiful too - subtle, but lovely.
