jane iredale's Smooth Affair® Brightening Face Primer (formerly known as "Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener") refines and prepares the skin for a long-lasting foundation application. It camouflages pores, fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin with a more luminous-looking glow. Algae extract firms, while olive leaf extract promotes skin regeneration.
With fingertips, spread evenly until primer has been absorbed. Use with or without your favorite moisturizer. Use Smooth Affair as a primer before your makeup application and after you wash your face at night for healthy, radiant, moisturized skin.

Awesome Primer
I have tried several primers from drugstore to high end and this is my absolute favorite. It smoothes the skin and doesn't get oily on me later on. Plus it has anti aging benefits so who can complain about that?!

I love how this primer is silky and smooth and it brightens my complection! I never put on my foundation without it!! My foundation stays all day and my face doesn't dry out like some other primers did! I will be ordering it again!

Great primer but not the best. I have combination skin and this primer makes my skin look super oily especially now that it's warmer outside. I originally learned about this primer through an Instagram post by make-up artist, Monika Blunder, she listed it as one of her favorite everyday primers. I did better with this primer during the winter month but will have to switch to something for oily skin, may actually try the newer for oily skin version of this primer. The primer itself goes on beautifully and it feels light and hydrating, I think someone with more normal to dry skin will love this primer and could use year round.

Not oily or thick. Very light and smells good. Love using this product, and I'm very picky about my primers. I've used Amazing Cos. Primer & smashbox, too. They look amazing but Feel a little heavy or coating. Jane allows my face feel fresh and glow with the brightner! Bonus! :)
