Designed to mimic the look and feel of skin, this powder provides sheer, buildable coverage with a semi-matte finish. Ideal for all skin tones, its weightless formula glides on smooth and never irritates skin. The refill is specially designed to be used with the jane iredale PurePressed Refillable Compact only. This pressed powder is formulated with reef-safe sunscreen to protect you and the environment.
Key Ingredients:
- Titanium Dioxide: calms inflammation and protects skin from both UVA and UVB rays
- Zinc Oxide: provides bacterial protection while shielding skin from UV damage
- Algae Extracts: soothe sensitive skin, prevent moisture loss and help reverse UV damage

Amber is ideal for light to medium skin tones with yellow undertones.
Apply all over the face with a brush, blend well. For optimal sun protection, apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply 40 minutes after swimming or sweating. Finish with your favorite hydration spray.

Nice finish pressed powder
Have been fairly happy with this powder. Apply with a light touch and buff in over bb cream. Not cakey and minimizes pores and flaws, giving a smooth natural look. Doesn’t last all day, even with setting spray, but nothing does with me. T zone breaks down a bit after 3 or 4 hours, but it is hot, humid in Florida this time of year. Doesn’t seem to emphasize fine lines, but a little goes a long way.

Best Mineral Powder
I've been using this for years and get a ton of compliments on my skin. I don't like to wear heavy make-up or liquid foundations. This doesn't make me break out and you can build up your coverage. I use a foundation brush to apply to spots and then a bigger Brush for all over face and apply a spritzer like Avene. Then I blot with tissue to get excess powder off. This seems to set the powder and then after I do the rest of my make-up I may go back and hit a few spots or do a light dusting all over, but its a natural look and there are so many great colors to choose from. Easy enough to mix and match to get the right shade and stays on all day!

I’ve used this for years thanks to a friend recommended it. The powder is so finely milled it helps a lot with lines and creases. Feels light and fresh on. Golden glow is great for my light olive skin during summertime when I have a little tan. Highly recommend.

This foundation powder provides great coverage. I find that it blends easily within my skin, does not cake, and holds all day. However, it does oxidize a little and made me look darker than I am. But not enough to where anyone but myself would notice.

Makeup Bag Work Horse
I have very sensitive skin, so I always worry makeup will make it worse. In general I don't love the way it feels to have stuff on my face, but this powder is barely there. The coverage is buildable, so I can even out tone without overdoing it. The SPF is an added bonus, and I love that it's clean. I did hear from an esthetician that the company was bought by L'Oreal, which meant their formulation wasn't going to be the same. I don't know for sure and haven't done a deep dive on the ingredients recently, but when it comes time to buy a refill, I'll have to investigate. I have really fair skin so the shades are good for me, but they don't have a wide enough shade range to be truly inclusive! Would love to see more options for all complexions, and a clear answer about the reformulation.
