favorite summer foundation
This spf powder foundation is perfect for my combination skin in summer! The coverage is light but buildable, and it won't look cakey if your skin is properly cared for. However I do suggest using a good primer before hand and seal it with a makeup spray after so it stays better.

This is my favorite powder foundation and the only one I use daily. It gives enough coverage without looking chalky and has that iridescence to make your skin glow. Highly recommend for a fast and pretty foundation.

Beautiful natrual finish
I have somewhat oily skin and I was afraid of switching from my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation to only a powder. My skin was just having so many break outs from daily use of the Double Wear a friend recommended this powered, I was skeptical but I absolutely love this! I use a semi fluffy brush to swipe over my face and it leave a beautiful natural finish and even helps cover some of my redness!

Good mineral foundation, but maybe not for dry skin.
This use to be my primary foundation, but as my skin has become drier, I'm find it harder to use. Jane Iredale's primer helps create a smooth canvas, but my skin starts to look a bit heavy by mid-day with repeated application. Good things about the product: caused no allergic reaction, is compact to carry (sponge is kept inside container), is safer to use than the loose powder (less chance of inhalation), is highly pigmented for a foundation, and has an ever so slight cream texture (making it a touch better than other mineral foundations that tend to be very dry). I appreciate Jane Iredale's line of mineral cosmetics with their wide ranging colors and long-wearing ability. I especially appreciate that their products have remained available unlike other brands that constantly discontinue a line no matter how popular or well-liked.

Great powder for mature skin
It's always difficult to find any compact powder foundation that doesn't go on cakey, chalky especially when you are over 60 and have aged skin. I have to say this pressed powder looks natural, not at all like you're wearing a powder. No question it is not going to give you a dewy finish, however it does give you a slight glow. I have learned as well if you want more of a glowy finish, you can use hydrating/make up setting mists and it looks as if you've got a liquid foundation on. I have always used a very large powder brush to apply this powder. I did use the sponge that comes with it and it's fine but I find that the brush gives a more natural, even look. I made a mistake on this order, I normally buy Satin but I accidentally ordered Radiant. It's still lovely but the Satin does give a more hydrating look. I have light/medium skintone with both pink and yellow undertones so both work fine for me. And of course the best part is you do get SPF 20 with it. I still use a sunscreen under it, and it is a serum based sunscreen, which also may be the reason it has a more hydrating finish.
