Helped with my acne and provides good coverage
I am very prone to breakouts and have red splotches on my fair skin as a result. Jane Iredale is great for me because it does not make me breakout like other brands, such as Bare Minerals or Laura Mercier. It does look cakey if I apply too much but blotting excess with a tissue helps as does spritzing my face with a moisture spray from clinque.

The PurePressed base is amazing. It's like a loose powder, but different. With acne prone skin and sensitive skin, it became hard to find a makeup that was hypoallergenic (sp?) that wouldn't clog my pores. It goes on so smoothly and lasts all day. Totally worth the price.

Good cover-up!
The esthetician at my dermatologist's office recommended this as I have very ruddy skin as a result of mild rosacea. This works very well in covering it up and evening my skin tone. When it first goes on it looks somewhat "powdery" but that doesn't last long. My only issue is that by the end of the day, some of my redness is creeping through again, although not as bad as not wearing no make up at all. I just don't need to use a blusher. Use The Handy" brush to apply.
