The true genius of this mascara is in its unique dual-edged brush. Each bristle gently coats individual lashes with a special formula of triple-length cellulose fibers, seaweed lipids and wheat protein to create a voluminous, feathery finish. Made to be hold onto both top and bottom lashes without smudging or flaking, it acts as multiple beauty tools in one simple stroke by curling, elongating and nourishing the strands while reducing splitting and breaking. Nice color
This mascara was fine. It didn't really lengthen my eyelashes, but I really liked the brown/black color, and the clean ingredients. The tube design is pretty and elegant.

Goes on well but comes off under eyes
This mascara goes on well and does not clump. Also, I love that Jane Iredale products are safer alternatives to many makeup choices. The only negative about this product is that is comes off easily and I look like I have raccoon eyes. For that reason I will not not repurchase this. Next time, I will try a waterproof Jane Iredale mascara.

Very good product
There is a lot I really like about this mascara - the brush comes out of the tube with an appropriate amount of product (as opposed to a giant glop like most others), goes on smoothly without clumping, and does not flake. The color (brown black) is lovely, and it wears pretty well, but by the end of the day, I do have a light smear of mascara under each eye. Still, it's the best I've found so far, and I'm sticking with it.

I was first introduced to this line when working in a dermatologists office many years ago. I couldn't wear regular makeup as my eyes would water so badly! As Jane Iredale's products only contain natural ingredients, I was able to wear eye makeup for the first time in years. I have been using these products now for over 15 years and couldn't be happier! The mascara can really make an impact especially if you add a second coat! I've tried the thickening formula but wasn't as happy with the results so I came back to the "old faithful". All of the Jane Iredale products are superb and environmentally friendly offering refills so you don't have to throw away perfectly good containers! Best yet, they DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS!!
