FLAKES after few hours. :-(
I LOVE Jane Iredale products. I'm a huge fan of the foundation pressed powder, eyeshadows, lip liners and lipsticks. BUT this liquid eyeliner was a real disappointment. It goes on well, but after a few hours, it flakes off in spots, leaving a messy look. I tried it many times because I just could not believe a Jane Iredale product would disappoint. Always flaked. I used ALMAY's liquid liner to compare and it worked fine, staying on all day. I really wanted to like this product, but sadly, it's going in the trash.

Great application, but rather thin
This went on super well, the brush is the perfect firmness and thickness for smooth application even on my less then firm skin around my eyes. It offers great control to make thin or thicker lines. It does seem to fade before 8 hours, even with lid primer and has to be reapplied. **The following comment is being added after using it more. I now use over over the cream powder eyeliner and thid id the perfect solution as it now lasts all day. I experienced no irritation from it and have sensitive eyes that tend to get red with most products.

Love the great coverage
Jane Iredale Liquid Eye Liner is easy to apply and offers great coverage. The applicator is not too thick or too thin- just perfect. Doesn't have parabens which are harmful.

Great everyday liquid eyeliner
I find this liquid eyeliner to be great for everyday use, but I would use a longer-lasting eyeliner for nights out or for special occasions where you might need a more durable eyeliner. This is fine for everyday or work.

Good everyday liquid eyeliner
I like this product as it goes on smooth and gives a nice line. However, I don't find that it is one of the most durable of eyeliners, that is, if I rub my eye, chances are I will rub the eyeliner off. But for every day use for work, it is fine. I don't recommend for "going out" usage, but great for "everyday".

Jane Iredale Black Liquid Eye Liner
This is the best long wearing, non-smudging, non-creasing on the top of your eye-lid liner I've tried. I've tried about every liquid eyeliner out there from every major department store brand and this one is tried and true. The last few purchases however, it started flaking by end of day. Maybe I'm receiving an old batch? Not sure what the expiration dates are on eye-liner but they should have one.

Deep dark liner
This eyeliner is truly deep and dark, but the brush is quite thin so I had to go over a couple times to thicken the line, and use a smudge brush too. The long handle made it really easy to apply which was unexpected!
