Allergic reaction
Not sure what ingredient did not work with my skin. Perhaps the lemon peel oil or the titanium dioxide? I know this works for others but it just did not work for me. My lips are on the drier, more sensitive side, but even when moisturized this balm started flaking within minutes of application. It additionally made my lips itch and gave me a red, peely rash, especially around the edges of my lips. The pros of this for me were the spf content, and the color. The flirt shade is beautiful and subtle. Most reviews are positive so I'd still say give it a shot. Dermstore has a great return policy. I ordered the colorescience lip shine 35 spf and boy is it now a holy grail! Too bad it's so pricey but it's so far the only spf product that has worked on my lips. I got the rose color and although I don't like it as much as the Jane iredale Flirt color, it's still pretty and worth it for the moisture and lack of rash.

Love this Lip Balm
I received this product as a sample and ordered the full size right away! The texture is great and it has a slight citrus scent. It doesn't have a sunscreen taste or smell. Only wish it was a higher SPF.

Very nice lip balm
My lips are always dry and I'm constantly looking for the best lip balm. I love this one by Jane Iredale. It really hydrates my lips and I don't have to constantly reapply it. I usually use it in the Buff color which is very hydrating. I bought the Pout color because it doesn't leave color on the inside of my masks and it still keeps my lips moist. One thing I noticed about the Pout color is that it doesn't keep my lips hydrated for as long as the Buff color and I have to reapply it more often. It may be because Pout has some shine/sparkle and Buff doesn't. That's the only difference I can see between the two formulas. That said, it's still a very good lip balm. Four stars for Pout and five stars for Buff!
