Spong is thin and very light
I found the spong to be thin and light, rather than round traditional spong like a beauty blender. It works best for padding product into skin, rather than blending like an actual spong in my opinion. Jane iredale makes great products and this could be the only tool you need when traveling. It would be nice it one corner would be more pointed to get into small corners like around the nose.

I did not care for this sponge at all! Unfortunately, the price was the only thing to like. It did nothing to give a softened finish to my foundation. I did not like the shape or the material. I ended up giving it to my mother to see if she could use it.

Practical for Cost
This works very well for blending in foundation! I loved it when I used the pressed mineral foundation. However, it can be a tad-bit hard to clean, and it didn't last that long when I used it ever day.

My most used sponge
I absolutely love this sponge. I wish it came in different shapes and sizes. This sponge blends concealer out effortlessly and is most importantly gentle on my delicate undereye skin. Very soft. It's kind of like a velvet hybrid material (not an actual sponge like a beauty blender) It also blends out cream contour pretty well. It's a great price, I ordered extra in case they stop making them. I think everyone can find a use for this sponge.
