jane iredale Eye Pencil enhances the eyes with a subtle, soft or dramatic line as it hydrates and protects the delicate skin of your eyelid. Formulated with moisturizing shea butter, it conditions while vitamin E protects the skin from creasing. The cream pencil glides on easily without tugging or pulling eyelids.
Basic Black is a true black shade.

Best applied by taking color off with the Eye Liner/Brow Brush. Then, flip the brush to smudge the line.
Use our cosmetic pencil sharpener to maintain a rounded point. (Regular pencil sharpeners don't have a large enough opening and will split the wood.)

Could be more bold and longer lasting
I purchased the liner in black ,and I'm a little disappointed. The black is not really bold and it vanishes very quickly. I love the other Jane Iredale products, but I'm disappointed in this one,unfortunately

Smudged Lines
I have purchased several Jane Iredale skin and make-up products. This eyeliner is smudge prone unfortunately. I also have previously used non-pencil eyeliners to achieve reliable results, the pencil form is less desirable due to need to constantly sharpen the point. Always a plus to have natural ingredients in jane iredale products.

Great pencil
I switched from a black to brown pencil for softer definition, and I found that the brown pencil I had from antonym cosmetics had a reddish undertone and would easily smear and make me look tired. I liked the option of the black brown pencil with Jane iredale, so I gave it a try. I really like it! The color is perfect and without a reddish undertone. It glides on easily and does not irritate my eyes. However, I do wish the lasting power was a bit stronger and it didn't smear at all.

Okay Eyeliner
This is an okay eyeliner. I like the color and I like that it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. However, it doesn't stay put too long. The eyeliner smudges and disappears from my eyelids within few hours. I finally started putting eye shadow powder on top of it to stay put.
