Okay but I've used better
Jane's concealers just don't work for me. I have dark circles and fair skin with warm undertones and need a warm color. The Light is very yellow and very light. the medium is too pink. I need a darker shade that is warm.

I found this product to be much too light and not very concealing. It didn't layer very well, either when I tried to build up heavier coverage. Also, thee was something grainy in the product that kept it from looking smooth. I had much better luck with jane iredale's disappear concealer.

Highlighter that brightens and freshens my appearance
I use Circle/Delete #1 as my every-day concealer to hide dark circles and uneven skin tone (redness), but now I have added Active Light 1 - Light Yellow and Active Light 2 - Dark Yellow as C/D's perfect partner, to highlight areas on my face that I want to enhance, not conceal. That is, I don't think Active Light is the best concealer, but it is a fantastic highlighter. I draw a line across the tops of my cheekbones and blend upward around the outer corner of my eyes; I also draw a thin line down the bridge of my nose, over each eyebrow, and dab-blend a dot in the little divot over my upper lip and in the crease at the top of my chin, just below my bottom lip ... and then I blend well (use warm, clean fingers to pat-press-roll the product into my skin, rather than rub). I apply Circle/Delete under Jane Iredale mineral foundation and Active Light over top; then I set with translucent (often high-definition) powder, spray with POMMIST, and my skin looks flawless, especially in photographs. Active Light 2 - Dark Yellow is the same color as the dark side of Circle Delete #1. It would suit people with fair coloring (warm or cool), and it is comparable to MAC NC15 Studio Sculpt Concealer, but I prefer Jane Iredale concealers because they do not turn chalky and dry or settle into fine lines or pores.

Excellent brightening concealer
This is easily the best concealer/brightening pen I have ever used. Its brightening powers for undereye circles is amazing. I just lightly dot the Active Light pen on the spots I would like to brighten and then blend with my Sephora Professional concealer brush and the results are perfect and very natural looking. This product is a tad expensive, but well worth the money. Love this!
