Skin Zyme (formally Skin Zyme Papaya Mask) is a highly effective mask made from papaya enzymes. Jan Marini designed this product for supplemental home care exfoliation, with its ability to thoroughly digest dead epidermal cells without harming sensitiv
Use daily or nightly. Apply layer of mask after face has been cleaned with CLEAN ZYME. Dampen hands in warm water and gently massage mask into skin (avoid getting water into Zyme jar). Leave mask on for 15 min. or longer.

No Go For Sensitive Skin Beauties
My esthetician recommended this mask and it turned out it was a bad choice. I have sensitive skin and my skin absolutely hated this mask. It became red, irritated and I had texture, peeling, and a burning feeling. Had to toss it..

I've been using this in conjunction with the Clean Zyme for years. I have very sensitive skin and using this once a week is a way for me to get needed exfoliation without the harshness of other products. Not a big fan of having to go through two steps, but the results are worth it for me. On a clean face I will put Clean Zyme on for a minute and rinse wash off. Then a nice layer of this mask for 20 minutes and wash off in the shower with Clean Zyme. The products don't really smell which I prefer. Overall, my skin really responds to this!

Great smell!
Love the feeling and smell of this mask so far! I'd never heard of Jan Marini and had been using skin ceuticals which is great! However, the past few months of summer my skin has not been great. I often break out a lot in summer compared to winter. I'm hoping this mask along with the retinol mask will help my skin get back on track.

Did the Job but not for my skintype
I was recommended this product by an esthetician, who said it would be gentle enough for me, despite my sensitive skin with mild rosacea. The first few times I used it, I loved the results - smooth, bright skin - but after a couple more uses I realised it is just a little too much for my skin. I would still recommend for those with less sensitive skin, but please tread carefully if not. Smells amazing, though!
