Tones skin in the shower
I love this cleanser because I can tone my whole body in the shower and not have to use a toner, especially because I also use a bar soap with an undisclosed Ph. It is also very good to have on hand in case you ever get basic cleaning products on your skin by mistake. For example, my beloved aging dog piddled n my bed and while laundry spotting I got oxiclean on my hand because my gloves broke where my wedding ring poked it, and my hand felt slimy, and it would not wash off... grabbed this and used one pump, and 5 seconds later my skin was totally normal. If you ever get it in your mouth, you can taste the high level of glycolic in this cleanser. It is quite sour. Avoid the eyes with more caution than you would for a regular cleanser- there is a lot of acid in this one. I also use Peter Thomas Roth 3% foaming cleanser on areas where Retin-A usage limits the amount of acid I can use on my skin, and for your reference, this is way stronger. Texture is very similar to the original Cetaphil but so much better for the acne prone individual. If you like the texture of Cetaphil but dislike that it does nothing for acne, this is the best of both worlds.

Best for adult acne
I first tried this when it was recommended by my facialist. It has changed my face. My adult acne is gone and I was on protactiv forever. My mom has started using it as well. The whole line has made my face acne free for over a year, and it has decreased the redness in my face.
