Cured my chronic, hormonal acne

Over the years, every acne product that I had tried...failed. It was not until the combination of the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Cleanser and her 10% benzyol peroxide lotion that my life turned around. It has been over 5 years now, and I refuse to live without these products. I can go outside without wearing makeup...which was unthinkable before. I recommend this to anyone. Ever.

Finally something effective and gentle!

This facial cleanser was wonderful. I've tried the M2 and the Glytone line and had too many problems. Glytone was too harsh and irritated my dry sensitive skin and M2 made be break out terribly. My skin just didn't feel clean at all and the blackheads were still there. It's strange to put a cleanser on dry skin but it's something you quickly get used to and while I wash more washcloths this product doesn't stain or bleach them. My skin is FINALLY clear and flawless. Not even Accutane could boast that about my skin. Everything makes it irritated and of course you break out more. I think I've finally found my IT cleanser! It lasts a long time (I'm still on my first bottle) and is so easy to use.

makes skin really soft

I had originally purchased the bioglycolic for oily skin (which I have) but it really dried out my skin because I started using in twice a day immediately. So then I ordered this cleanser and although it is much milder on the skin, it has the consistency of lotion so it feels like you are washing your face with lotion. It seems greasy but honestly washes off clean and leaves the skin very soft. I actually prefer the consistency of the oily skin cleanser because it is a clear gel and foams on the skin. So I use the regular cleanser in the morning and the oily skin cleanser at night to really get the face clean. But you HAVE to use a moisturizer afterwards or the skin will flake and peel.

For use with clarisonic?

I purchased this cleanser based on all the great reviews I've read. Unfortunately, I've yet to use it as I purchased a clarisonic at the same time. Is this a cleanser that can be used with a clarisonic or should it be used alone? Also, i'm 26 years old. Am I too young to use such an active cleanser? right now I use epicuren. Epicuren milk cleanser, propolis spray and lotion and probiotic cream. I look forward to sharing the results!
