Helps with blackheads!
For whatever reason, this salicylic acid works much better than others that I've tried. I've been using it for years and I rarely get blackheads because of it. The only downside is the packaging; there's some wasted product because of the dropper.

A staple in my skincare routine
I have been using the Bioclear Lotion for two years. I absolutely love this product as it works to keep breakouts at bay, having an ample percentage of salicylic acid. Since using it I have also noticed an improvement to my skin texture and I think it also helps with the leftover hyperpigmentation from when I do get a breakout. I'm not entirely sure it helps with pore size but I do believe it helps to keep them "clean," so to speak, reducing acne. The product scent doesn't bother me at all as there is no fragrance - I personally would rather have a product smell like whatever ingredients are in it versus being scented as often this irritates acne-prone or sensitive skin. Texture-wise it has a bit of a sticky consistency but it doesn't pill at all and once dry it isn't a problem. I layer mineral powder makeup over this without any issues. The packaging includes a drop dispenser... it's fine but I do think it wastes some of the product as it gets stuck in the dispenser or when very low it's not easy to get out but honestly I'm not sure a pump could avoid this entirely. I appreciate that the bottle itself is opaque so that light doesn't damage the product. I highly recommend this product for anyone struggling with breakouts or just looking to improve skin texture, tone and overall health!

This product has some great results and works exceptionally well with all steps. A little goes a long way. Don't overuse - it's too expensive for that! I have oily adult skin and I noticed great texture changes with this product.

Feels more like a serum than a lotion
The consistency of this "lotion" is much more like a serum. The consistency causes a lot of product to get caught on the extremely small neck of the containing. You have to be careful or else you will get the lotion dripping on the sides of the screw top. The smell is pretty neutral, and when I apply it, there is a slight bit of stinging. I'm going to keep using for a week to see how it goes.

I have to say the whole Jan Marini line is amazing! This product helps keep my acne at bay. After starting to use this along with the BP, my skin has improved so much. This serum targets any blemishes and i feel it zapping the bacteria away. Start off with applying it once a day. I was sensitive to it when i started.
