Retinal is not in the ingredients
I purchased this lotion because in the description on this website it said it had Retinal in it. When the packaged arrived and I read the ingredients on the box it didn't say Retinal it said Retinyl. I'm keeping the bottle because I don't have time to send it back, but I won't be purchasing this again . . . I will continue my search for a body lotion with Retinal in it. This website and iS Clinical should really get their story straight. I copy and pasted the difference between Retinal and Retinyl from a dermatologist's website. See below: retinol and retinyl palmitate are not equivalent, as the conversion to retinoic acid (the active substance) is much easier (shorter) for retinol compare to retinyl palmitate (see below): Retinyl Palmitate <= = > Retinol <= = > Retinoic acid Therefore, compared to retinol, much more retinyl palmitate is needed to produce the same amount of retinoic acid. So in general, if you are looking to maximize the benefits of retinoids, you should most likely use a cream that contains retinol, not retinyl palmitate.

Best body moisturizer I've ever tried
I have horrible KP that got worse when I moved to California from Hawaii a year ago. My usual treatment stopped working (topical salicylic acid followed by CeraVe SA or Amlactin lotion), so I was looking for something with retinol. This is expensive but it made a big difference in my skin within a week. I use it in the morning on my arms 4-5 times a week. My skin in softer, smoother, more hydrated, and my KP is much less noticeable. I am repurchasing now. I justify the expense by telling myself that it combines several things in one (moisturizer, antioxidants, retinol). I normally hate using body lotion, but I actually look forward to using this one. There is a scent but it is very mild. The consistency is thinner compared to other body lotions so a little goes a long way and it absorbs more quickly. The packaging makes it hard to get the last bit out, so I would prefer a squeeze tube over the bottle.

Light lotion, absorbs quickly
I loved that it absorbed right away. It has a nice, fresh scent, too. It was light; not greasy. It really has made a difference in my skin's softness in just a few days!
