Just dries up acne
For acne prone skin, this product will work great. It dries out your blemishes. In fact, it dries out your skin overall. But for someone like me with normal-oily non-sensitive skin, it really is too harsh. I was expecting a product that would be more anti-aging and improve skin appearance overall, with the additional benefit of clearing acne. For the price, one might think it was an all-around skin improving miracle product. But it's not. I guess my first clue should have been that it really doesn't have any great ingredients skin needs like vitamins A, C, or E. I will use it as an expensive spot treatment and probably not repurchase.

I am 40, and I love this product as more of a spot treatment for breakouts (an esthetician told me to use it this way, though I hadn't realized I could do so based on information online). It is super effective for clearing up pimples. When I was in my 20s and even most of my 30s, I probably could have used this as an all over treatment on near-nightly basis. Since my skin is changing, I need something more nourishing on the daily, but this is definitely a go-to for small problem areas or when I know I'll be traveling to a more humid (aka, pore-clogging) environment. For oily skin, this would be an awesome daily treatment, and for more sensitive or aging, use sporadically.
