Powerhouse product
I'd contemplated purchasing this for a while after seeing facialist Shani Darden recommend it consistently on social media, but was hesitant to buy because of the price tag. I finally took the plunge after suffering several months of hormonal breakouts. As others mentioned, it has a minty sensation when applied, you can feel it working and I actually really look forward to the feeling but I understand it may not be for everyone. Most importantly, this has cleared my breakouts. I haven't had a cystic blemish since introducing this into my routine. No super hero here
My esthetician recommended this and like a loyal client, I went home and ordered it on Dermstore. She swore by it because of it's multiple claims of being able to aide in the fight of acne, the prevention, and ability to smooth away of fine lines and wrinkles. She calls it the true "super hero" of all skin types. Well, I've been using it for almost a 3 months now and I sure as heck would not call it a "super hero." I'm not sure if it's helping with anything really. I still get the occasionally time of the month break out that I've always gotten. I haven't seen any big difference. Maybe I need to finish the whole bottle to see something? The only thing that I can say for sure about this serum is that if I use it daily, my skin get's super dry. Also, I'm not quite a fan of the tingling sensation that I get the second I put it on. To be fair, the tingling feeling does go away after a minute or so. Will I get again? Probably not. No super hero here.

I have been using this for less than 3 weeks and immediately, I mean within DAYS of using this product my skin started rejoicing. Worth it, I swear
I am not one to spend this much on skin care, so this was definitely a splurge.. but worth every single penny. I had a sample a while back and loved how it made my skin look. I went a month or two without it and realized what a difference it made and needed it back in my life. I have had fairly bad acne the past 8 or so years (29 now), not the deep pitting scarring, more on the surface kind- my skin is dry (or dehydrated) but also oily. Once I hit 27 I swear all my sun spots came out and hormonal acne worsened. This product is honestly the best thing I've ever used. I use it every day after I wash my face (with IS clinical cleanser- the greatest too). It tingles but doesn't hurt and does not dry out my skin. I have had maybe 2 breakouts in the past month. The pores on my cheeks, nose, and chin appear smaller and cleaner. My melasma spots have faded. My dry patches have improved... I could go on and on. I feel like my best self with this stuff - and usually the only makeup I use now is my tinted moisturizer... Active Serum has made me feel so comfortable in my own skin.

I absolutely love this product and will be using it for the foreseeable future. This serum has completely turned my skin around for the better.
