Interesting...
I was dealing for the first time with new onset hormonal acne when using this. I have acne prone dry combo skin. It was recommended to me by my esthetician. The serum is marketed as reducing hyper pigmentation, anti acne, and softening skin texture. I have skin that reacts well to good products and isn't sensitive at all. When I purchase things this EXPENSIVE especially skin care, I expect great efficacy. I believe that skincare should be non comedogenic, have wholesome ingredients, and work quickly. This product did nothing it marketed that it would do. I saw NO difference in my dark spots, no shrinking of my pimples, no difference in my skin texture from the acne I was dealing with. All I felt was irritation from the stupid menthol thats in it, menthol that has no benefit to increasing skin health. Seems to me like just an overly expensive, CULT PROFESSIONAL FAVORITE. The consistency is easily absorbable and non-greasy for those wondering.

An incredible product
I don't know how this does what it does, but it is amazing. At first I was hesitant, particularly with menthol on the ingredient list, which is a known irritant. BUT, somehow it has cleared up much of my hyperpigmentation and greatly reduced the occurrence and severity of my cystic acne. Worth. Every. Penny.

I can not live with out this product. If I could only have one skincare product for the rest of my life this would be it! It helps my acne, rosacea, inflammation and overall look of my skin. This product does not at all work of acne..waste of money..if u r buying this for acne treatment. I dont know why people are saying good stuffs about this product (maybe paid reviews). To be honest this product did improve my skin quality a bit but i wouldn't pay around $150 for it. There are better products out in market. I used this product everyday at night for 2 and a half months, there was no reduction in my face acne. In fact there were days I got huge acne breakouts ..which i have never seen before. I stopped active serum and started using panoxyl max strength 10% (no more acne and it cost less than $15)

IS Clinical is worth every penny
I can't say enough good things about this brand. I love the active serum for my acne prone skin. Sometimes I like to mix a few drops of the serum with a moisturizer or another cream based product. It makes application a little easier. And nothing beats the cooling sensation it leaves on your skin afterward.
