I barely ever write reviews, but I believe this serum deserves 20 minutes of my day. I purchased this serum back in April, when I had given up searching for non-prescribed products to help with my hormonal/cystic acne (jaw line, under the cheek and chin area). I've had this type of acne since I was 22 and I'm currently 29. I went to see my gynecologist thinking I could have PCOS, but luckily, I don't have the disorder, only some of the symptoms, like cystic acne (which is not uncommon according to my doctor). I was skeptical at first because this is the most pricey product in my whole skincare routine but I thought I could give it try. I had tried soooo many different products and brands and years researching for something I hadn't found until now. Listen, you won't understand how fast my cystic acne was gone. I had fallen into a cycle that the same nodular acne was going away and resurfacing in the same exact spots, for years... I had no idea what else I could topically try, I was sure as heck I didn't want to go through a well-known medication taken by the mouth we all know about. And so I found this serum. I have noticed that it hasn't done wonders for my hyperpigmentation, but my face has slowly become clearer. Disclosure: this has worked for me and my type of skin, it does not mean it will work the same for everyone else. I am so so so glad I found this I could easily cry right now. Holy grail of face serums!
I started using this upon recommendation from my facial esthetician and use this every night after I've cleansed/applied toner. Apply Active Serum prior to moisturizing. You will notice a difference in your skin texture after using this for even just a few days! It's pricey but worth it.

This is OK
This is a nice clarifying serum. It is very lightweight and despite having alcohol my skin does fine. At times though it is so lightweight I almost feel its hard to get on my face after dropping in my hands. For the price though I think I will keep trying other things. While it definitely seemed to help calm some of my severe hormonal acne, I didn't have the life-changing results others did and used the product for about 8 weeks 2x/day.

Bad shipping experience
I had ordered this and would Love to leave a review but I still haven't received it. I've talked to Customer service 4 times And still no Updates on where it Is it or when I'll receive it. So, So far my experience hasn't been good. I was hoping customer service could do more and provide More info but they continue to Tell me Call Back the following week of if it still hasn't arrived.

I started using this as a substitution for my prescribed tretinoin cream from my term because it was drying me out and I didn't like the smell. Saw this featured on the Glossier ITG blog and decided to give it a go. I love the cooling sensation when applied on my skin. It did make me purge a little for a week at first (small whiteheads), but by week two it cleared me up and my skin is much clearer, smoother, and hydrated. No dry flakes at all. I'll still get the occasional pimple/eczema flare up, but they don't last longer than a day/couple hours. Doesn't make me super red and gives my skin a glow as if I'm wearing highlighter with no makeup on. Highly recommend this!
