Holifrog 's Como Popp-E Renewal Scrubby Wash is a nourishing gel-oil formula made with poppy seeds and bamboo stem powder that create a gentle exfoliating experience leaving skin with a soft, smooth and dewy finish. I have been using this product for over a year
I got this exfoliation in BeautyFix and fell in love with it. It is the best exfoliating product I have experienced so far. I also want to mention that I have acne-prone skin as it runs in my family. Since being on tretinoin .1% cream and Benzoyl Peroxide cleaners and creams to fight hormonal acne, I have developed dry and flaky skin. Therefore, this product instantly gets rid of the dead skin and leaves my skin soft and moisterized, which I need in an exfoliation product! My hyperpigmentation has also improved using this exfoliation once a week. I try not to depend on this product, though, as too much exfoliating on acne-prone skin can irritate, so I try not to overdo it. Not every facial product is for everyone, and I respect those that, unfortunately, didn't work for them, maybe HoliFrog can come out with one that is more on the gentle texture side, but I love the way the poppy seeds feel on my skin as it feels it is doing the job to slough away dead skin revealing new skin.

Hated it
I hate the goopy texture of this scrub as I always ended up putting too much on. I didn't feel like there was any change to my skin after using and the smell was horrendous.

Love the gentle exfoliation
I received this is a past Beautyfix box and I love it. It doesn't strip your face or dry it out. Maybe people are pressing too hard, but I do not find thr pooppy seeds to be too abrasive. To each his own. Will buy again.

Can’t please everyone
I really have liked other HoliFrog products but this was meh for me. I saw other reviews say this was too gritty for them I actually found it to not be gritty enough. Not sure if they reformulated or if I have “thick” skin but I felt like the round poppy seeds weren’t abrasive as I would prefer in a scrub.

Wonderful product
I wanted to preface this with the fact that my face seems to be able to take a beating. My skin doesn't react negatively to almost any product I use. (Don't be jealous, though because I am acne prone and I'm constantly fighting post acne hyperpigmentation). I loved this product. The texture: as soon as I GENTLY put it on, I said oooohhhhhh. It feels different from any cleanser or physical scrub I've used. I GENTLY rubbed it on my wet skin for maybe 30 seconds. I then let it sit for another minute or so before rinsing it off. My skin felt so smooth afterwards. The products I used after just soaked in. If your skin isn't sensitive, give it a try. :-)

I did not like it at all. Too abrasive, doesn't do the job. The creamy formula in it is not sexy at all. I would rather mix my Schmidt body wash with used coffee grinds, it works so much better than this prooduct!
