Lives up to its claims!
I heard many good things about this but didn't want to commit to a full size. This smaller size is perfect! I only use 2 tiny drops in addition to my regular serums morning and night and my skin is MUCH more hydrated! I am actually very surprised how effective this is! I tend to feel dryness by the middle of the day, but haven't experienced ANY dryness since using this oil. I have since moved on to the larger size and don't see me ever going without!

The moisture my dry, sensitive break out prone skin needed
I have tried dozens of moisturizers and serums, but nothing has been able to fully quench my skin until adding this into my routine. I live in a very dry climate and use prescription retinol for my acne prone skin. I have been avoiding oils all of my life, but little did I know that is just what my skin needs. I did a lot of research on which oils would be ideal for my combination of sensitivities and needs. This has a rose/medicinal smell that I don't love, but it dissipates pretty quickly. My skin is not greasy at all and my moisturizer and sunscreen glide over it with no issues. For the first time in 10 years my skin did not "crack' and peel around my mouth and chin by 3pm. My skin looked like hydrated skin and not a tight chapped alligator skin. I have not had a single breakout or sensitized period since starting this. I use two drops for around my nose, cheeks, and chin am and pm. I LOVE this stuff, but I do wish it came in a dark/opaque container to prevent light from degrading it. I keep my products on the counter and have to keep it in it's box.

One of My Favorite Oils
This is one of the best oils I've tried, and it's worth a try for everyone! Smoothly sinks and absorbs into skin and it perfectly hydrates. It comes with a spoid, not a roller ball as seen in the photo! 4 stars because it's small pricey and the bigger option is too big for me.

not a rollerball dispenser anymore
phoenix oil is awesome, as are all of herbivore's facial oils. they do not look or feel greasy, and absorb instantly. they really hydrate and leave your skin free of flakiness. phoenix smells similar to lapis-soft and herbal, and not at all perfumed. the scent doe not linger. beware! this comes in a dropper bottle, not a roller ball.

Feels nice, but...
This oil feels nice and heavier than the orchid oil. So, excellent night oil. The scent is decent and not over powering. I have dry skin and with this and the orchid oil I use during the day, no more dry skin. Other than that and a slight glow, no major changes in skin, which is okay. My only complaints are, this oil didn't absorb easily. It sat on my skin no matter how much or little I put on. Noticed, I broke out a little on my chin after the first few uses. May have been too heavy or could be I just need a facial. Also, this didn't come in a roller, but a glass dropper. The dropper stopped dispensing after a few days(not a big deal). Based on everything, I do like the product and that this brand is natural and cruelty free. Though, I'd only buy this oil if it's on a good sale.
