Best facial moisturizer/oil for combo skin with acne
I kept reading about the lapis oil when it was all the rage with celebrities. I decided to try it and I LOVE it. Have been using it for over a year, year-round, and the oil absorbs in my skin well, doesn't make it break out, keeps it hydrated. I use it every morning after spraying a toner and applying vitamin C serum- I wait until the serum is absorbed before applying lapis oil. A full dropper's amount of the oil is good to cover face, neck and chest. Just be careful to not let hair (especially bangs) touch your skin before the oil absorbs, because it'll make your hair oily too!

Amazing for inflammation

I really enjoyed this oil and was so sad when I dropped the bottle and it shattered everywhere! Luckily, I'd used up most of it so not too much of a loss. The smell is absolutely delicious and I found that the oil sank quickly into my skin without leaving a oily residue behind. Would recommend!

Great oil for oily face
I never thought I'd be able to use oil on my face because i have a super oily t-zone. But I'm able to use Lapis oil without exacerbating my oily face. I've been using it for close to a month now but I've never noticed any increase or decrease in oil production. I'm good with it's moisturizing properties.

So sad this didn't work for me
I have rosacea, so I have to be careful about what products I use. I try to use more natural products because they're easier on my skin, plus I prefer cruelty-free companies. I had purchased a squalane-based moisturizer from another company, and it completely wrecked my skin. My skin was blotchy, itchy, and even hot. I didn't, however, realize the squalane was the problem, so I purchased this oil, thinking it might get my skin back in order. After using this product for a few days though, I discovered that squalane doesn't agree with my skin. Although this is a lovely product, it left my skin very hot and irritated. I'm so upset this product didn't work for me. Thank goodness for Dermstore's nice return policy because I was able to get a refund instead of being left with an expensive oil I can't use.

I like this oil
I have quite a collection of oils in my skincare collection and after all the hype i had to try lapis. I do agree with its claims to be moisturizing and calming. Often I will often finish out my routine with this oil at night. Its a little to heavy for me to wear during the day with my oily skin, even though its supposed to be geared towards my skin type. Overall i like this oil and i like how much product i get for the price.
