Doesn't absorb.
Finding a good oil for problem skin is hard. Unfortunately this was a bust. Pricey too. It didn't absorb well enough for me take advantage of the results promised. i applied it right after cleansing and toning. it just sat on top of my skin. I really had high hopes for this product. I love the Rose Hibiscus Face Mist so this was a major let down.

Lovely scent, great for oily skin
My skin tends to get oily in the t-zone but still be dehydrated. I like using this in the morning to moisturize my skin and have a good base for my SPF. My skin likes oils rather than water-based creams. I only have the occasional pimple so I haven't noticed any anti-inflammatory effect, but it seems to have lessened my blackheads. I just do a few drops in my palm, do a therapists sweep, then pat it into my face. It soaks in nicely in a few minutes, leaving my face feeling perfectly smooth and balanced. I love the spicy scent too!

Oh so lovely
The first thing I will say about this product is that I love how it looks on my shelf. So pretty! If I put this product on right before I go to bed I wake up with the most even and smooth skin I've ever had. You have to massage the oil into your face or else it will be too oily. You only need a little at a time - I've been using it for about three weeks and have barely made a dent. I don't like the smell, but there are so many things about it I do like that I'm willing to overlook that.

Beautiful Morning Oil
I have combo, oily, acne prone skin with hyperpigmentation. I recently got into oils and fell in love with the Herbivore Botanical line. The Lapis oil is for oily, acne prone skin and I love using it in the morning. I can't say that I noticed it's anti-inflammatory or antibacterial affect but I used this oil instead of moisturizer and it hydrates my skin perfectly. I do feel that I am not as oily throughout the day. I use 3 drops which is a perfect amount and it absorbs beautifully.

Miracle in a bottle!
I normally have an oily t-zone so I have always steered clear of putting oil on my face, but I gave this a try after hearing that oily skin means that your skin is too dry and I'm so glad that I did! It actually did make my skin LESS oily! I use to blot halfway through the day but now I don't feel that I need to all. My makeup also looks a lot more absorbed and natural than it did before.

Very Disappointing
This oil's smell is unpleasant, but the scent doesn't linger on your skin for long. You should use only a drop or two, otherwise the oil sits on your skin and doesn't absorb. I have blemish prone skin, and have seen an increase in blemishes in the four weeks I've been using this. I didn't experience any of the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, or redness reducing benefits, or see any decrease in sebum production. I'm disappointed that this product didn't work for me, as it is expensive. I've seen zero positive results, and will stop using it.
