smells amazing
this smells so amazing and works pretty well, and it feels cooling when you first put it on your body and start scrubbing. it reminds me of the soap and glory flake away body scrub in consistency, but the ingredients in this one are more natural.

Perfect in the bath

Great product, just know the jar is glass
I received this body polish as a sample. Normally these types of products (oil-based scrub) are not my cup of tea because they're just too oily, don't absorb and get all over the shower, and then my robe. And/or, the "scrub" ingredient is in name only. Not this polish, though. It has a good mix of oil and scrub, the scrub is "substantial" (if that's the correct way to describe it), it leaves my skin soft but not too oily and the oil soaks in quickly. Also a lovely mild scent. I don't like coconut (to eat, drink or smell), and I don't have that Malibu Rum "aura" to me when I'm done. A little goes a long way, too. The sample jar lasted a surprisingly long time, and I'm having the same experience with the full-size. My only caveat is with the glass jar. Given that it is oily, and the oil gets on my hands, and I'm in a tiled shower, the thought crosses my mind whenever I use it to hold on tight and be certain it's securely on the ledge when I'm done. The glass is so thick that I don't think it will shatter if dropped (and the texture/density of the scrub would also mitigate against that I think) but broken glass, especially in the shower, is problematic for obvious reasons. It won't stop me from using it, and I do appreciate that it's not plastic, I'm just conscious of that potential when I do use it.

A Miracle for Sensitive Skin
As someone with sensitive skin, my options for body polish are pretty slim. But Coco Rose is hardly a compromise. I use it once a week to hydrate and exfoliate my skin. Whenever I use this product, I step out of the shower feeling like I have treated myself to an expensive spa renewal ritual. My skin is baby soft, glowing, and lightly scented. I cannot deduct a star for the price, but given the small size of the product and the expense, it is not something I will buy on a regular basis. Hopefully, Herbivore Botanicals will start offering about twice the product at the same price point. Until then, I will only purchase the scrub about once a year.
