I love Herbivore Botanicals!
I am a herbalist! I know every Asian aromatherapy herb. My wife and my son just went to an Asian spa last month, the spaworld in Centreville. My wife really likes the traditional South Korean v-steam, sauna, and bathing in traditional aromatherapy herbs. I like traditional South Korean spas because there is always a gym, a cafe, a tv and ice rooms, clay rooms, saunas, and swimming pools. I like to take a bath with a bamboo charcoal soap because it is very purifying, soothing, and has a refreshing scent of pine trees and bamboo and charcoal. I think this soap is great for oily, dry, or combination skins. Very refreshing soap!

Super affordable, lasts forever
I've been using this most nights on my face for the past 5 months and I still have quite a bit left! I have combo skin and can tell it could be a bit drying for drier skin types. It's gentle, lathers well, and has a nice scent. I travel a lot so any way to reduce liquids in my travel bag is good in my books! Also, I love that the packaging has zero plastic.

Great Product, Especially For The Price!
I've been using this product for about 3 months now. At the time, I was looking for something inexpensive that could work with my skin without it burning since I've been using acidic-based products. I do get blemishes here and there. I found this cleanser to be a great natural product! Every time I washed my face, my face felt very smooth with no burning sensation. Although the smell took some getting used to (keep in mind it's all natural), I found it to be very effective. I also use an all-natural toner with it, and it definitely does the job. This is for sure a product I will continue to purchase.

My favorite soap. Deep cleansing, soft, organic, natural, good after a workout , gym, or karate. If you are a male and sweat a lot, charcoal powder cleans the skin surface to sanitize clogged pores.

I initially bought this for use on my face. Started using it on my chest and back to help with the a few blemishes. I found the cleanser to be effective however I'm still on the fence about repurchasing.

New favorite cleanser
I've used so many different cleansers, that "loyalty" normally doesn't apply to any products. This, however, will be a repeat purchase in the future. It works extremely well for me skin - lathers easily, cleanses deeply, and rinses off completely and leaves me with a fresh, squeaky clean sensation. I love the natural, soft scent, and I look forward to washing my face! I also love the ingredients and the fact that it contains no impurities and troubling chemicals. I've spent far more on cleansers in the past, but this one works better and leaves me happier with my skin.

Does NOT clean my face
VERY disappointed with this soap bar. It claims to deep clean and detoxify the skin. Each time after washing my face, I use a toner. The cotton pad was full of make up, which means this soap DID NOT deep clean or detoxify my skin. Plan to return this bar. I hope other Herbivore Botanicals products work better... I bought 3 others. :(
