- Invest in a quality blow dryer. A powerful dryer will save you time, energy and prevent damage, as you'll spend significantly less time blowing heat over the same sections.
- Utilize a nozzle. It will help direct the hot air at a small space, allowing you to concentrate on specific areas of your hair at a time. Start at the roots to add volume and work your way to the ends.
- Take your time. Pull your hair into sections and dry one at a time. Taking an extra ten minutes to do this will save you another twenty that you'll need to fix stray hairs and frizz from blasting the blow dryer all over.

Awesome dryer!!!
After MUCH research, I FINALLY decided to treat myself to this incredible blow dryer. I have owned TOO MANY blow dryers, mostly purchased due to claims of reducing frizz. NONE of these other dryers came even remotely close to what this one TRULY does!!! My hair is long, natural silvery white, and a bit coarse. My old dryer, a high end brand claiming to be especially good on reducing frizz and only two years old, was actually making my hair MORE frizzy as time went on. I was skeptical of the ionic feature claims actually being of any real value. However, after realizing how much money I had already WASTED on other dryers, I decided this was the time to buy this blow dryer. Have had it now for only two weeks, using it several times per week, and can honestly say, it has made a HUGE difference in reducing my frizz issues!!! OMG, could literally go on and on, but just had to write this for anyone considering this fantastic dryer. Do it, you will NOT be sorry. Yes, a cost, but truly an investment in your hair and keeping it as beautiful as you can. It just works as it claims!!!!

Powerful little thing
I was excited for my new hairdryer. At first, I was ready to return because I thought it was a little overpriced. Even after opening a ticket up to return it I kept. It's powerful and drys my hair faster than my old hairdryers. Plus I feel I get a lot of shine and smoothness with it! I feel it does a great job when I use a round brush that I do not need to straighten as much after. I do like the size & weight and it's easy to hold!

Solid high-end dryer
This is a very good dryer. I live overseas half of the year I needed to get a new one for when I'm in the US, so I opted for this. I'd say it's in the same category as my others, in terms of quality, performance and price. The style is much more basic (not flashy, no LEDs or touchscreen tech, etc. - you can tell its only goal is function!). It gives my medium-thickness frizzy straight hair a very quick dry if I use it without the concentrator (I attach it when it's about 80% dry to smooth it out and get a controlled blowout). I do find my hair is very shiny and the blowout lasts for an extra day. I was excited for the ion technology but I couldn't see a difference with or without (perhaps my hair is too "normal" for that to be an important feature). If you blowdry your hair frequently and you're able to afford it (and don't care about bells and whistles), go for this! I do think, however, nowadays there are so many great options that are probably relatively comparable for much less, perhaps with a little trial and error (e.g., my sister tried it and couldn't tell a difference from her $50 one from a drugstore). I like being confident that I have a solid, high quality device that won't disappoint.

Excellent Dryer
I'm a professional Aveda hair stylist and I purchased this dryer for my career. I've never been more impressed with a professional tool. This is the lightest, quietest dryer I've owned yet. The ionic/non-ionic settings really work and the dryer dries very quickly. The added bonus is the beautiful color. I'm officially obsessed and now want one for home.

Heavier than my Conair Pro
I ordered this product because having had a broken wrist I thought their advertising Ultra Light Weigh meant it would be lighter than my regular dryer. It is not. In addition they advertise easy, free returns. But, that is only for store credit. Be aware that you have to pay to ship it back if you wish to return it.

Not Sorry
I have never in my life, until now, spent over $150.00 on a blow dryer. So far, I like this dryer. Would I purchase this again? Most likely. I think I like it best for its heat settings and the 2 attachments. It is light weight but I've had other dryer that seems even more light weight. Feels good in the hand, I don't need the 11 foot cord but I've managed to the amount I do need. Feels like my hair is thicker and it is tless fizzy after drying

Wonderful, but it is going back..
Beautifully made dryer, delightful to use. BUT, while it may be lightweight in your hand, the cord is long and weighty. I weighed the cord plus the dryer, and it weighs the same as my Conair (plus cord) that was one-tenth the price. In other words, the weight of the cord cancels out the decrease in the weight of the dryer. So no weight advantage unless you are comparing it to a professional 11ft. cord dryer. I also tested drying time various ways, and saw no advantage over the Conair. Obviously, for my own personal use, the dryer is not worth the price. That said, I did love it! My reading tells me it might be very much more time-saving with longer, thicker hair. But since mine is average, I will return the dryer.

Love this hairdryer
I bought this hairdryer after rotator cuff surgery. My regular hairdryer was too heavy. My hairdresser uses this hairdryer. I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I have pretty straight hair. This dryer works faster, is much lighter and less noisy. I love the way it finishes my hair. It is softer and with a bad shoulder, this dryer fits the bill.
