- Invest in a quality blow dryer. A powerful dryer will save you time, energy and prevent damage, as you'll spend significantly less time blowing heat over the same sections.
- Utilize a nozzle. It will help direct the hot air at a small space, allowing you to concentrate on specific areas of your hair at a time. Start at the roots to add volume and work your way to the ends.

Blowing out my own hair is a huge hassle.. I don't really enjoy doing it, usually air dry, this blow drier works great.. It really concentrates on the section and dries so much faster than the ordinary blow-drier.

If I could give It a Negative Number I would - Don't buy this hair dryer
I have had this hair dryer for around the 2 year period and I can tell you this, while the blow drying feature is fine - the green material that this hair blower is made out of, comes off on your hands, your bathroom counter, the cord, the bathroom drawer you store it in. And what is worse, Derm Store does not stand behind their product. When I contacted the Derm Store about this issue they asked for proof of purchase and it was a gift so what I am suppose to do. It is very upsetting that they do not stand behind the products they sell on their website. This was not an inexpensive hair dryer and as far as I know they have exclusive rights to selling this product so in my opinion they should stand behind the products they sell regardless. Frankly, I will probably NOT purchase anything more from Derm Store moving forward. I did have a picture so everyone could see the condition of my hair dryer, however, their upload feature does not seem to be working - how convenient for the Derm Store. :(

hair drying time cut in half
I received the Harry Josh Ultra Light Dryer 3 weeks ago and I am so pleased with this product. It is lightweight which helps alleviate shoulder soreness I experienced after drying my very thick hair with my previous hair dryer. It also saves time. I have cut the amount of time I spend drying my hair in half! It is expensive but the time I save is worth it.

I have been in the industry for 10 years now. After retiring my Sedu, I bought the original Harry Josh Blowdryer and I absolutely loved it! It was loud but nothing that was out of the ordinary or too much to hear my guests as I was drying their hair. After 3 years the outer coating began to chip and peel off leaving a mess at the end of the day. I decided it was time for an upgrade and bought this dryer to replace the old one because I was not about to pay that kind of money knowing it would chip and peel again. I love this dryer! It's quiet, SO LIGHT WEIGHT, efficient, and I LOVE that the attachments click into place so they do not fall off (I never had that problem, to begin with, but I see it all the time in the salon with other dryers). I do however do A LOT of curly haired guests and I am saddened to see that the Harry Josh Team seems to have completely overlooked that there is no diffuser for this dryer... which I desperately need. This has forced me to borrow a dryer and diffuser from my co-worker with whom I share a station with. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come out with a diffuser because I want to give this dryer the 5-star rating it deserves! I am a loyal Harry Josh fan and I have been referring my guests to purchase your tools, but this professional really needs her diffuser!

Way too expensive
This is a hair dryer. I dont know what I was thinking when I purchased it thinking it would solve alll my probllems - it hasn't. My $30 hair dryer from amazon works just as well. Pass!

not at sll what was advertised
I bought this as advertised "ultra light" dryer. It was extremely heavy. I called the company and they said I did not get the ultra light, but when I read the operator the numbers, she said it was, indeed, the ultra light. She told me to mail it back. I inquired about the as advertised "free shipping," and she gave me the instructions. When I went to my local UPS store I was told to pay $21.36 in shipping. I said the label was for free shipping per the advertised rules. The salesperson advised me that there was no way that was a free shipping label. I paid it and called the company. The operator who I spoke to said there is no free shipping even though it is advertised. He then kept me on hold for over ten minutes while he "checked." THERE WAS NO FREE SHIPPING SO PLEASE STOP ADVERTISING THERE IS!!!!

Expensive empty promises...
This HJ dryer promises silky shiny hair and whisper soft technology....def not the case. I had the original HJ which made my hair super silky but yes it was super loud, like wind tunnel loud, like airplane loud aerodynamic loud but worth the loudness because my hair was silky! This Ultra Light is not whisper soft, it might be quieter than the original HJ but its as loud as a regular blowdryer. I didn't hesitate to purchase, even tho its expensive because I loved my original and trusted the brand. SO disappointed. Not worth the money. If you want to buy a Harry Josh then buy the original. This is lighter tho but thats about it.
