- Invest in a quality blow dryer. A powerful dryer will save you time, energy and prevent damage, as you'll spend significantly less time blowing heat over the same sections.
- Utilize a nozzle. It will help direct the hot air at a small space, allowing you to concentrate on specific areas of your hair at a time. Start at the roots to add volume and work your way to the ends.

This is quiet and fast. I'm super happy with the results after every wash. I have long hair and this dries it really fast.

Disappointing. Not lighter, not faster. Not anything.
Admittedly I don't know the wind speed at which my current dryer blows, nor did I weigh it before ordering the Harry Josh Ultra Light Pro Dryer, but it takes longer than I'd like to dry my thick, frizzy, shoulder length hair and my arm gets tired. After reading all the reviews I was so excited to get the new Harry Josh dryer. Huh. I'm currently using an ancient Metropolitan blow dryer and while the Harry Josh is definitely prettier, it's not faster, not much quieter (HJ has a higher pitched whine to it), and it doesn't feel appreciably lighter. So disappointed. I have no idea what all the hype is about.

LOVE this blow dryer
I've owned a LOT of blow dryers from cheaper ones to super expensive and this one is the best. It's light weight , pretty quiet and has just enough bells and whistles. The hottest setting doesn't seem super hot which is great for helping not fry my hair. I have hair down to my bra strap and it's fine and thin but a lot of hair which usually takes a lot of effort to get fully dry and smooth. My hair naturally dries in like a frizzy mess and this blow dryer really smooths out my hair nicely. The two nozzles that come with it are great and I've mainly used the longer one. Well worth the money!

Let me say, I was excited to try this new hair dryer. When it arrived, I went to unbox it and noticed how flimsy the packaging was. The plastic holding the dryer is black and it shredded black particles over the dryer and parts. The dryer itself feels heavy, not 1lb. I assume this is because the cord itself is wicked heavy which adds weight when handling the dryer. Used it one time and didn't like it at all. The dryer blows your hair as if you are in a windy storm. It's hard to control what you want to do without aimlessly blowing your hair around just like the Dyson dryer!. It was such a mess by the time I was done. One thing is for sure, it will dry your hair faster but that is only due to the amount of force coming out and it's incredibly hot. Don't let the little end with the hair diffuser even touch your hair. It will scorch it. If you lower the settings, it will dry normal time and take as long as most market hair dryers. Using this product on high heat is a sure way to dry out and dry your mane! It's also an awkward design to hold and reminded me of a travel hair dryer. It is so overpriced. I'm going to stick with my trusty, lighter than anything I've owned x5 superlite ion 1875. I don't know what I was thinking with this one. Also, Dermstore is tough to ship back. Unless you want store credit, be prepared to forfeit some extra dough to return. Not to mention about 2 weeks for them to process your return. However, it can be much faster. Don't let this stop you if you really want to give it a go. Maybe this is fine for most people to tie up your hard earned money - but I would rather stick with other stores which have a better and cheaper return policy.

Excellent Hair Dryer!
I had been using Elchim hair dryers for a number of years now since my hairdresser used one but I was disappointed that they would last a couple of years and then need to be replaced. I took a chance and puchased this hair dryer and I'm so glad I did! It is so much lighter than my other dryer and I do feel that it dries faster. It is easy to handle and feels very well made. I would highly recommend it!

Not a quality product
Less than one year later, the power switch gets stuck on and I cannot leave the hair dryer plugged in for fear of it starting a fire. You pay for a brand name here, not quality. I would definitely not repurchase this.

Works well, but doesn't really save much time
The main reason I bought this is because I heard it reduced drying time, but that doesn't really seem to be the case (maybe a minute). It is fairly light and the long cord is nice to have. My mom says that her hair feels softer with it, but I don't notice much of a difference.

Great hair dryer - horrible cord
I bought this hairdryer for its light weight and styling options. After owning it for over 6 months, I am very disappointed with the heavy, unmanageable cord. It tangles and makes the hairdryer hard to use. Might be going back to my Babyliss for this reason alone.
